According to manual, bios password should be 8 digits minimum and include an Upper case. Lower case, a number and a special character. There is an HP bios password program on mine but i was able to use a Bootable cd-rom to install win7 and it works fine. No need for bios password so far.
What model bios chip should I order for this particular model? I am considering the W25Q80DVSNIG TR from digikey but I am lost as to what I should order.

OMG... I so would never do that, I do not have the guts to do it, nor the balls, lol. everything else i would be fine with but removing the chip, omg, no. You rock.
That is a big problem. Might be a corrupted bios, incompatible or defective memory or a bad motherboard. Some other incompatibilities in the laptop could also cause this. Try to remove all you can from usb, try the memory sticks one by one and also remove the battery and try without it.

I have an hp elitebook 8440p and it says "Product information not valid" every time I turn it on, any suggestions on how to fix it?
You could use HPBR, a program which resets the bios password, you can find it on many youtube videos

You need a bios programmer to reflash the bios or search for emergency blind reflash procedure for your model.

Sorry, not really into BIOS editing, so you have a better chance on forums.
Hi! Done the way you show on zbook, but when flashing bios I have problem message “bios signature verification error”
Might have some bios protection measures in place. Never had this issue, so I don't know how to help.
