YES TOTALLY WANNA SEE IT ON THE ROAD AGAIN...AND THE ENTIRE PROCESS OF FIXING IT UP TOO!!
Hilarious. JD says “ that’s factory!” Love it
Best kid ever
As always, I appreciate all your help!
It's a cool car
Would love to see you work on that Torino , That is my favorite body style
Definitely want to see more of that Torino, hands down one of the coolest cars Ford made. I love the 70-73 Torino fastbacks, they’re really cool cars and you don’t see them very often anymore. Hope you guys get it back on the road and fix it up again.
Dad will have it done before I can even get over there lol
@@PoleBarnGarage My Mom bought a standard and I've always liked em. I prefer the lines of the standard over the GT.
@@ClassicStreetIron agreed. My first car, in 1986, at 15 years old, was a 1971 Torino 500, pretty much cherry, 302-2V. I do prefer the very back of the Sportsroof design, with the slight “duckbill” profile. But I prefer the roof line of the “formal” roof, as the Sportsroof almost seems kinda forced, and I really don’t care for the shape of the 1/4 windows.
Can't wait to see more! Couldn't see the front turn signals but that is a 71 grill
Yup. 1970 and 1971 were the two years of identical body styles, but the '70 did not possess a split grill. I love both years, thanks for the video.
I had a 69 Ford Torino Cobra. Love to see what you can do with this! Appreciate it! Thank you for sharing!
had a 70 429SCJ with ram air and top loader 4 speed. Sold it in 1990 and kicking myself since then!
Before Joe Dirt got his Daytona, there was the.... 😁 Hope to see more. Those old Ford fastbacks don't get nearly enough attention. I grew up down the road from the Cleveland engine plant back in the day so I probably have a bit of Ford blue in my blood.
Literally!
We won't hold that against you.
I think we need to see more of this one! Hopefully it’s solid enough to make it a decent car too! Love these things…
It's super nice
Love the GT
I had a 70 also 351c with a 4 speed factory shaker ,be careful on wet road. Glad to see you rescue that torino. I have a 68 torino GT 390 4speed now.
Yes want to see this Torino going again. This will be a good project. Thank you for Sharing! Think JD liked it too!
Nice find! Grandpa used to chase his cattle around the pasture in a gold Gt with the fancy body stripe! Don't remember the year but yeah it went to the crusher after he was done with it! Great memories!
Good lord lol
Excellent score on the Torino! One of the last cool factory hot rods of the70's. Looking forward to watch you make it awesome again..
Oh yeah want to see more of this cool car. Love those Torino's. Stick shift too 👍👍
3 speed!
I love learning about old cars and watching others fix them. I would love if you explained more of what you were doing, for the youngins of the channel, especially due to how well you describe the parts and how they interact in such an easy to understand way. Thanks for the content!
love the 70-71 torinos! looks like a basic 302/3 speed. some refresh on suspension and brakes, some clean up/tune up and it's on the road again. look forward to seeing more.
You know what you're looking at, nailed it
Nice, the split grille with the GT badge looks like a 71' but Hell I owned a 1971 Mustang Mach 1 while stationed at NASNI San Diego.
Brings back memories. I had a '70 Torino GT convertible. Same front end, tail lights, interior, and hood. It had rusty fenders from up North. A couple of friends helped fix it up and paint it. I drove it several more years. Still like the body style. Good luck with this one!
Man cool find !! I would love to see it hit the road again.
I am partial to the old Torino's. Please do more videos on this car. Dad would be happy!
Yes, lets see more of the Torino!!
Thank you for sharing! Definitely look forward to you working on it in the future…
For sure we want to see you work on it . Its sweet car looks in good shape as well
Nice find ,definitely one of my top 20 cars
Hell yeah I wanna see more of this care. You just brought back some memories.
I learned how to drive in my mom's 70 Torino. I'm 44 now. She still has the that thing and I hope she passes it on to me eventually.
Potential! Back in the day, a friend’s father had a new ‘68, then a new ‘70 Torino, both big block 4 speeds. He used to let my friend take them anytime. Had fun in those cars. The ‘68 with a 428, you could stomp the gas and watch the fuel gage drop. Good thing gas was $.25 a gallon.
HA HA HA I had the 69 F Code 428 Factory 456 rear gears it was a FAIRLANE SEDAN very rare as I know now
yes! would like to see how you fix that small rear suspension issue
Hope to see more Torino, good family project!
Love to see her back on the road….. Miss mine… 2nd car I bought when I was nineteen….
It looked cool as hell being that low though. Almost so cool that I wanted a ford for a second there.
In 1972 my Dad sold his '63 Corvette for $2,500 and bought my mom a solid walnut dining room set.
Partially because the family was a little too big for a Corvette and partially because the new job in California came with a company car.
It was a gold 1970ish Torino with a 351 Cleveland.
You're one of the first channels I look for to post. As always you've got me laughing and intrigued and keep me wanting more.. Thank you for the content.
I appreciate that man
Looks like a lot of fun. Looks like an awesome car. Lets get a closer look, i want to hear the story about this unit,,
Man thats a solid start to a bad ass ride!!
Thanks for stopping by at Casey's today in Yates Center, Ks. I'm the cashier there and am now subscribed to your channel.
Cool man! Thanks for the gas
Another good find! Let's see more!
Heck yeah, I want to see more of this car! My absolute favorite Torino body style--1970 Fastback. Your dad has good taste in cars. :) --Bruce
Definitely wanna see more of the Torino, great video!
Can’t wait to see this one back on the road!!!
My Dad bought a 71 Torino Gt in 1972 with lazer strips dark green. I got my driver's license in 1981 . I totaled it a month later he was going to give it to me. Sure loved that car!!
Man!!!! That is a sweet ride! Torino’s are under rated if you ask me. Awesome body style.
Cool find. It would be cool to see you get back on the road.
We just pulled my dad's 70 ranchero squire out from a dirty grave, good thing it came from southern NM 15 yrs ago it cleaned up well and he's falling back in love again
Cool car, always loved the lines on a 70 Torino.
I would love to see more of the Torino GT
It will be good to see another gem put on the road by you. GO FOR IT BUDDY.
@Pole Barn Garage - My father had a forest metallic green Torino with that body style. He sold it in 1975. He never missed only missed his F100
My first car was a 70' Torino 302. Solid daily driver.
We all wanna see this one back on the road! 😊😊
Road worthy car right there!
Those are super cool cars!
Had a blue one like that once. It got stolen when I lived north of Chicago! 😳
Mine kept throwing timing chains! Ya, gotta get this going, and back on the road!
looks like that 71 grill is pretty nice.
There's so few of those cars left in the world it would be a crime not to get the angry orange back on the road. Good luck and God speed love your channel.
Heck yes I want to see more of that.
Fun stuff! This Torino was worth the effort!
NIce. Torinos are always underappreciated. Those years always seemed like Ford's version of the Charger
Very cool car. I hope to see more of it.
Love my numbers matching 70 GT, 351 Cleveland, 4 speed bench seat car.
did you buy that car online
You don't find cars like that outside of garages in Michigan. Looks very restorable. Worth putting a little money into.
Another fun video. This video reminds me of the ones from Chris at 3:23 garage. Keep them coming
Time for a 429 or 460 swap, love ur channel, so interesting to watch. What sucks us 30 yrs ago u could buy cars like that in better condition for under 800 bucks
Yep let’s fix it. That is my favorite body style across all of the manufacturers. The Torino, Chevelle, Lemons they all had their version of that body style. I love em. The Holy Goat as well.
would love to see you get that back on the road, i really want to see some longer videos too
Sweet find, can't wait to see more of it
What an awesome find! Can't wait to see more.
Awesome video and hope to a update on it even though it's your dad's car and not yours.
I purchased a new 1971 Torino GT with a 302 and 3 on the tree. Red with the reflective yellow stripe. Great Car. BTW the grill on this Torino appears to be from a 1971, 1970 had a round emblem in the Center.
Indeed.
Just saw this! Great find. Lots of work to be done, but good on your dad for saving (?) a 1971 Torino GT!
That's one of the nicer ones you've dragged home.
Cool car! Can't wait to see more of it.
Do it! Would love to see more of this car until one day it will be on the streets again. I love all the Torinos/Fairlanes from 68-72!
Defiantly a sweet old ride. Can't wait to see this one on the road!
Heck yeah! That's a dream car!
That’s a great car, I almost bought a 70 Torino, more power to you!🏁👍
Definitely want to see more of the revival
Heck yea! That thing is sweet, and awesome video!
Thanks dude!
Thank you for the quick response I was not criticizing I had a 70 Torino myself and I found the 71 Grill wouldn't fit I could be wrong good luck with the car though have fun
It looks like I installed that grill, but they're basically the same
Gorgeous Torino Dalton @Pole Barn Garage
Nice little video bro keep them up always fun to see what you up to
I definitely want to see more of this car.
Great find Dalton! 😉 😎 😉
👋🏾 👋🏾 👋🏾 👋🏾 👋🏾
My all time favorite! If I found one in a feild like that I'd go Mad Max on it. It's the same as a Ford Falcon in Australia
I drove one like that to highschool. 351 4speed hideaway headlight drag pack car . I also had a 71 GT 429 automatic car . Thanks for sharing
I would love to see that back on the road I've always wanted one
Would love to see more on this torino Dalton @Pole Barn Garage
One of my favorite cars! ❤ Can't wait to see more of this car
It's pretty badass
This looks like so much fun
That one switch under the dash with the red knob is the same switch im mad max to engage the blower. Ironically installed in the closest thing in american to the Australian falcon.
Hadn't thought about that
Good find, like to see more on this one.
I'm no expert ,but I believe the squared of back end was only on the GT. Correct me of I'm wrong a regular fast back Torino had the more rounded tail section like the Fairlane.
Tail panel is GT but changeable
0:43 I know that feeling, been there brother lol
The real ones all have lol
Jackpot! 👍 You're lucky to find that Torino in a good running condition. I can't wait to see you put it back in the road.
the calm respectful way your father you and your son talk to each other that's how come you're being so successful
Yeah, I mean that's just being normal my man
I want the power steering delete setup out of that Torino!
Heck yeah get this beast back on the road ! 👍. Ford fever 😷
Bought a 70 Torino in fall 69. 351 Cleveland, 4 speed, 2 door. Couldn't keep tires on it
Yes,yes, yes, I want to see more of this. It’s iconic! Love the 70 version. Also like the starsky n hutch style. 1974???
73-76 starsky style.
yea, I bet the paint will buff out nice!!
Dad will have it painted like new in a few months
One of my favorite Fords! Manual transmission car to? Wow! What a find! 👍
Me and my brother dug 3 cars out of a field of sage grass reminds me so much of the good old times 1 car was a 68 gt 350 mustang all original the other one was a 70 gt torino 390 4 speed I was the good old times would return lol !
Yeah let's see some more work on that Ford. Looks to have a good body can't say that for the rear leaf springs.
