For the 200th video on my channel, I choice an awesome car, the Maserati Alfieri Concept, the winners at Concours d'Elegance of Villa d'Este '14 in the Concept Car category and which goes on sale in 2016.
In 2014 the Maserati celebrates the 100 years, and from this car you can see the look of the future factory models.
Per il 200° video sul mio canale, ho scelto una macchina eccezionale, la Maserati Alfieri Concept, vincitrice al Concorso d'Eleganza di Villa d'Este '14 nella categoria Concept Car e che sarà in vendita del 2016.
Nel 2014 la Maserati celebra i 100 anni, e da questa vettura si può vedere il look dei futuri modelli di fabbrica.

I don't understand how Maserati does it. They build such paralyzingly beautiful cars, but they do it in such an understated way. There's not a hint of excessive design or any exaggerated lines or shapes on this car, but it is utterly breathtaking and timeless.
How do they DO that?
Yeah they create a beautiful car, and don’t even produce it, they just cancel plans and focus on the Turismo
....and when it came into production, they called it the Roma....

Maserati have managed to turn up a car that is more James Bond-ish than the DB10 from Aston, a car featured in the next Bond film - Spectre, and that is quite something...+10 for the italians on this one, Aston Martin take some notes...
This generally does look much better than the DB10 as you have said.

Alex D. They aren't changing anything . They're just adding the alfieri to their models to compete with the ftype. They're still keeping the gran turismo.

Devono assolutamente farla così esteticamente … penso che una macchina così bella in questo momento non ci sia, SPETTACOLARE, aggressiva, moderna ed elegante. Dovrebbe essere la rivale sella 911 e della F-Type… esteticamente non ci saranno paragoni, spero nemmeno per il resto
Maserati has to bring back the Alfieri. They're not obligated to Ferrari anymore. This is a a masterpiece Maserati work of art. This will fly off the dealership.

Maserati V8 exhaust sounds are the equivalent of a Millionaire's Shortbread Pudding, but for your ears.
The perfect blend of sweetness and filling to make a true spectacular dish. Likewise with Maserati, they blend a certain purity into their exhaust systems, which is a total treat for the ears.
Owned a 2006 Quattroporte and now a 2017 Ghibli. I’ll be getting the Alfieri as soon as it comes out (2021).

That's exactly what I was thinking. The front is the best it could be but I think the back is a bit too curvy and all over the place.
As always with Maserati
back is awful. granturismo was the first really good back in maserati history, this takes them back to the curvy odd tails of 3200s and 4200s

I'm not a fan of Maserati, I usually skip over them in car shows that aren't even based around super cars (meaning that I'm not overwhelemed by super cars, I look at the normal ones more than the Maseratis). But god damn, this sounds amazing.

Just needs a longer back or a boot, just have another version with this option to it...this could be the best looking car in the world.

And I think of all the CZcamsrs looking for followers, haters, envious for not able to afford it, commenting with the same old BS about Maserati, underlying the only minor things that could be improved (the few shared Fiat Chrysler group interior parts!!") and never mentioning all the other divine aspects of it, just because they ignore the heritage and the engineering awesomeness, and they actually never owned it or drove it. LOL

And hot damn, I didn't think *anything* could be more beautiful than the GT, but this car comes scarily close. It certainly beats it on the interior... even though there's no way in hell _that_ will make it to production as-is.
