Rosso EX3 12T | elrica shows rosso real steroids | Octopath COTC

How to beat rosso:
1: break on turn 3 to remove phys resist
2: screw around for like 7 turns to prep for break
3: give elrica steroids
4: ???
5: profit
this clear is messy as hell, i imagine that the turn counter can be shaved about 3 turns with some optimization and even more with some awakenings/a4s
if you have all 3 of The Big Spears (leon+krauser+roland) or leon+roland+solon, you can probably 1 break (not counting the break to remove phys resist), but i'm short a leon so here we are
This fight is supremely annoying if you can’t kill it in 1 break after removing the phys resist so I’m glad I sniped the Solon u10. Still not finished with ff7 rebirth so i really dont want to be duking it out for 30 turns or putting effort into my clears :cheems:

Man, now that I've actually started to attempt these EX refights myself and seeing clears like this one, I really regret not getting Solon back when he dropped

yea he's a pretty big game changer, though i will add (if it's any consolation) that it's not super easy to make him work in a clear thats longer than 1 real break. i'm not a spender so even with solon, a lot of ex3s are out of 1 break range for me.
