- In this video I talk about why I love the Xbox One X, it's like a mini review. I also go over some of the key features of the console, and why I think it's better than the Xbox Series S.
I like how it uses a regular hard drive for external storage and not a memory card. How it still has a disc drive for older Xbox 360 games and current Xbox One games. The additional hdmi input for watching other video sources. How it's small and portable compared to a Series X. It's also great how you can use newer Series X and S controllers on Xbox One as well

I’m primarily a PC gamer but I picked up a used Xbox One X a month ago for $80 with a controller. Swapped in a $50 1TB SSD and applied fresh thermal paste. Absolutely love this sleek 4K box to kick back on the couch and play backwards compatible games and a few One titles. Physical xbox games are about as cheap as the Steam storefront so it’s nice to have the option to pick them up to play on the couch when I’m feeling burned out from being on my desk all day.
Yeah it's still a great console, I mostly play on pc too but nice to get away from the desk haha
It's a 4k Blu-ray player 😅 got mine for $40 and had to get a $50 SSD with a crashed hdd lol
they not bringet out Starfield for the ONE S and XBOX ONE X !!! 40 CUs @ 1,172 GHz (6 Teraflops) of POWER The ONE X has much Faster 12 GB GDDR5 Ram compared to the Series S has only 4Tf but GDDR6 I bought the Black Series S 1 TB for 349 + Starfiled over 450 Bugs just for Playing a bit Starfield this is not ok from MS they sayd back then no one will left behind when the ONE X Came Out . Spencer sayed it from his mouth.

I agree with you. I still use my x box one X and my ps4 pro. Both still work very well. I still have a lot of games I haven’t finished yet. I won’t get a ps5 until GTA6 comes out and even then I’ll probably wait to see what the ps5 pro will be like then make my decision.

I bought my Xbox one X when it first came out and I still have it and I play on it every day almost when I’m not working, 😂 but I love it. I am not upgrading no time soon Xbox forever ❤️❤️💕

Instead of playing 900p 60fps on Series S, I prefer to play 4k 35-40fps on One X. Series S is very good, but since I don't have a monitor, I continue with One X on my TV.

Got one a few days ago for 250 dollars brand new. A small little game shop still have a few one x consoles brand new and sealed + 2 year warranty ❤.
I was hunting at my local thrift superstore and found one for just £10! And it works perfectly, absolute bargain for a console I really wanted when it first came out

Dug out my kids old 360 and let me tell on a 65 inch LG wow. I got rid of all my old games so I didn't have any . Went round all the old charity shops and bought only XBOX EXCLUSIVES and I am hooked again it's fantastic 😊

The main problem with the next-gen consoles especially the Xbox series consoles is that the nvme M.2 drives are proprietary. So when these drives start to go out, you just can't go out and buy a new nvme M.2 drive and stick it in your xbox series console. It simply won't work, because the xbox series console won't recognize it. So you'll have to send your xbox series console back to Microsoft and get the nvme M.2 drive replaced. who knows how much that would cost if you're out of warranty to get it fixed. if you're on the series s when that happens you miles well just buy another series s at that point, because I'd imagine with shipping, labor and the replacement of the drive would cost as much as a new series s if not more.
That's a good point, same for PS5. They should have just built them with standard, user replaceable nvme drives inside. Otherwise you're just waiting for that main SSD to go
Series x can be replaced since it is using an nvme socket. Ps5 on the other hand could potentially show problem in the future since the 825GB is soldered.
@@dradvyrk6162 you're not understanding. the nvme drive itself is keyed to that specific xbox series x/s that came with. if it dies you can not just replace it because the xbox series x/s won't recognize it. You can't even take one from one series x/s console and put it in another.

Just like now in 2024 I can't afford a Series X, back when this came out I couldn't afford it either 😂 but I picked one up super cheap, and it's simply beautiful, playing Gears 4 is simply mind blowing, mine came with all its leaflets and original box, it felt as if I'm back in 2017 😅
I don't know a lot about console gaming since I'm a pc gamer, but I found an xbox one x infront of our dormitory I think somebody throw it in there together with some garbage box. I have a printer power cord so the only thing I bought is the controller for 25dollar in used market then subs to gamepass.
I bought one for $100 bucks a week before Christmas. It came with blu series x controller and the original controller. It’s a little slow downloading games, but other than that I can’t complain at all. Using it more for a blu-ray player than anything. Was looking for another controller and I actually found another One X that I was able to negotiate to only $50! I’m picking up that one tomorrow, but doesn’t come with hdmi cable nor a controller. But I don’t even care at that price point, bottom line is there’s deals to be made out there for these consoles. And if you can find them at those price points they’re 100% worth it.
that sounds like an awesome deal! the value is real. It'd say if you can, plug in an ethernet cable that'll help the download speeds

I remote play my Xbox one x on my s20 phone. My phone has a 120hz refresh rate and the screen is very vivid. So yeah. Ain't gonna upgrade in a hurry.
Is this backwards compatible for original xbox games, or is that only the updated series x and s
It depends on the game you're trying to play. you'd have to check the Xbox website I know it works with some xbox original games
@jonnyteck I think most 360 titles are played. To be honest, this system has won me over. I'd rather get this than a series console it's the only console other than the 360 that gets highly regarded
@@michaelpointer9416yes! You can play any backwards compatible games on the Xbox One X also if you are ultimate game pass subscriber, you can play Starfield thru cloud gaming!!!
The Series X uses the One X enhanced games (4K) etc. The Series S (which I hate) uses the old regular Xbox One versions of games, NO One X enhanced games since the Series S doesn't do 4K. It's just a low resolution higher fps console. Which I would never settle for when I have the One X with more GPU horsepower. I mean why go backwards? Anyway.
@drummer7557 I don't like the series S, either. Some time has passed since my last comment. I can confirm you are right about the backwards compatibility it's not really worth it
Exelent video! But the series s/x is still the way to go, there are more pros things in thay side than on the Xbox one x. Also, the majority are uses, so unless I new appears, the series s I think would be better. Also, Xbox is not putting many new games on it(But the question is that if I can play all this on the game pass)
yeah I'd say for sure the Series X is a better console. Personally I'd take the One X over the Series S just cause the disc drive and more storage for a similar price
And better port for old games.

If only they bumped up the CPU performance the GPU bump to 6Tflops was nice but the CPU bottlenecks it.

This System is a Beast , iz a realy shame Starfield not coming out for the ONE Series .

@@SharpSteelzseries s cpu is way ahead of the one x. The one x has good gpu tho. For starfield I dont think the one X cpu would be able to handle it
@@oz7586exactly, it probably could run it but the x86 jaguar chip is already way overclocked coming out the gate. It will have it hotter than the sun and the performance will make go to like 10 frames a second from that

I skipped Xbox One entirely and while I almost bought the One X I ended up holding off. Had I bought the One X I wouldn’t have bought the Series X and just rocked the PS5 & One X
