- Faux wood grain texture. We demonstrate how to use simple inexpensive tools to transform a used metal French door into a beautiful faux wood door! We purchased a set of hurricane doors from habitat for humanity store for $150 and you won’t believe how good they look now! This was our first attempt at a faux wood finish. It is fairly easy and loads of fun to do. It just requires a little patience and some cheap tools. We purchased ours off of Amazon. We bought a set of 6 different sizes for $16 but we only used 3 of them. Give it a try, there are so many uses for this technique.

You both are blessed with such talent - Everything you do is beautiful!!! I missed watching your videos.
Thank you Lynne! It was really a lot easier than I thought it would be. So much fun to see the crazy patterns those cheap little tools could make. I still can’t wrap my head around how it works😂😂 The hardest part was being patient enough to let it dry properly 😂👍
Welcome back Lance and Cinda. Thanks for the video!
Thank you! 😊👍
Well well look at here Lance and Cinda is so good to see you guys just the other day you had passed through my thoughts wondering how you guys are doing I'm thinking God that you guys are still in good health and looking well and doing well blessings to you 😊 🙏🙏
Thanks Lynette! Lance is working on getting his 100,000 mile overhaul🤣 Double carpal tunnel surgery last month and shoulder surgery next month. So I have been picking up the slack a bit and haven’t had time to edit videos lately 😂😂He’s doing good though. Hope you and your family are well too! Take care😊💕
That window would work good in a greenhouse. Beautiful door.
Yes, or it could be used for a cold frame. 😊👍
So glad to see you again. The door is gorgeous. Both of you do such nice work. Hope to see you again soon.
Thank you! We have been busy, but little time to edit out the videos 😂 we will try to get caught up when we get a chance. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment!😊💕
that turned out way better than i thought it would , nice job
Yeah thanks! We definitely had our doubts too. 😂😂 But a new set of French doors was $4000 so we decided to take a chance on it. After cutting a big hole in the side of our house we were kind of committed 😁😂
Glad to see you both are well, we missed you.
Thanks Bob! We missed hearing from everyone too!😊
Nice to see you back, you both did a great job without these doors and a nice porch😊

Gosh, I haven't watched any videos in quite some time. I've been a little bit sick. You two are so creative! That looks so gorgeous. 😊
Sorry to hear that you have been sick! We hope you get to feeling better soon. Lance has been having some problems too lately so we haven’t posted much. Take care, and thanks again for watching!😊
Beautiful work, both of you! Nice to see you again.
Thank you!😊
Long time no see! The doors look fantastic as well as the porch. I didn´t know that tool. Congratulations and thanks for the video!

Tolle Arbeit
Thanks! It’s a little different from our other projects, but thought some might enjoy trying it. It is pretty fun to do to recycle old stuff😁
Very nice job on the doors
Thanks Gary!
So so nice luv it ❤ Yall did a great job!!!!
Thank you! It’s crazy how good those tools work! Thanks for watching!😊
Woow it’s been a long time, hope you husband are doing fine❤regards from Tokyo 😊
Thanks! We’ve been dealing with some life issues lately 🙄 Lance tore his shoulder rotator cuff and needed carpal tunnel surgery for both hands. So he’s been moving slow. He gets his shoulder fixed next month, but that will take a while to heal. We have a few videos that will be coming when I get time to edit them, but I’ve been trying to take some of the work load off him till he gets well. He heals quickly though if I can keep him from doing too much 😂😂
Where are you been? Nice to see you. Love your project.
Thanks! Lance has been having some health problems lately. He’s doing somewhat better now. Had carpal tunnel surgery in both hands so he’s able to do a bit more already. He is going in for surgery next month for a torn rotator cuff, so that’s going to put him down for a bit. Hopefully he will get a good 100,000 mile overhaul and then be good for a few more miles!🤣🤣Thanks for your concern!💕
Good Job I really enjoy you vido's
Thank you Fred!😊
Looking great👍
Thanks! It was a fun project 😊
Hi Guys...... I see you're well, and i'm happy, when is the next log homme? Ciao from Dolomites. 👍👍👍
Hi! We probably won’t start any big projects for a while. Lance has to have shoulder surgery next month and that will take a good while to heal. Hopefully he will be able to get his strength back before too long. Thanks so much for watching!😊👍
@@natureartgirl Best wishes for the surgery operation! 😄👍
Of course i was joking abaut building another a log cabin.I realize that we are no longer anymore. Best wisches again. 👍
Cinda, could you use a tooth brush for finer details. Great to see you both.
Hi Tom, yes, I think an old toothbrush would work perfectly for the small details! It would be easier to hold than the little brush I was using. Thanks for the suggestion!😊👍👍
Saudades.... ficou linda a porta um belo trabalho te admiro, alias admiro os dois😊 bjs meus amores❤
Thanks so much Mira! We really appreciate your support over the last few years. Lance is having his 100,000 mile overhaul this year😂 Just had carpal tunnel surgery on both hands last month and shoulder surgery next month. When he recovers from that we will try to post more often. Hope you are well! 😊💕💕

Hi, sorry we have been slow. My dad has been very sick and required 24/7 care. We were able to take care of him at home like he wanted. He just passed away last week. We look forward to seeing him again after the resurrection. Hope you are doing well. Thank you for checking on us💕💕💕
@@natureartgirl meus sentimentos à todos , que Deus possa consolar vossos corações 💕
I thought you two were done with you tube. My mistake.
We have not posted much due to life issues. Lance just had a shoulder surgery so he is going to have a few months recovery time. And my dad who is 93 had a stroke and is bedridden. Mom is caring for him at home so she can’t do that alone. The joys of getting older😬Hope you and your family are doing okay 😊
Life does get in the way my mother died a few months ago . We have a cottage we didn't get there till August ,we were so busy with my mom. All the best to both of you.
