My barber was pissed the ONE time I didn't have time to wash my hair. In my defense, I didn't put product in it to go to the barber shop, I just didn't wash out my hair from the day before. IIRC I think some shops charge like $5 for doing that here in California.

I have a client that just started coming to me, and has very thick, coarse hair. He pretty much styles it the same as Mike. He refuses to let me texturize his hair, I’ve tried to talk to him about it but he says it always grows out weird and the one time that I’ve tried to texturize it he moved his head away. What would be your recommendation for this situation
Mike has fabulous hair i wouldn't cut it too short either, but he got more handsome as the hair got shorter. I enjoyed the barber cringing with the early 2000's Neo Punk playing in the background, but then early 90's punk started playing and it made it all better lol

Needed more of a shorter blend around the ears and sides. Thick hair tends to sticks out (think hedgehog) when you go below a number 4 so needs to go down nearer a 2 close to the ears and burns to make it look smooth rather than spiking out.

Same. Why are the thinning it so much? Its too much imo. It ended up looking ok in the end but they removed too much hair and made a kinda generic haircut.
