Goodafternoon,
I am soon to be licensed and I still have some questions about clipper cuts. Due to state laws we are supposed to wash out hair before giving any service right. Since that is required some clients prefer to have the hair dry before the clipper cuts; my question is - Why is it better to have the hair dry for a clipper cut?
Because wet hair will appear longer, so the barber will cut more than intended

In our shop the customer is always facing away from the mirror. One it keeps the customer from constantly having input and controlling the situation. Two as you are cutting the the customers hair, if they aren’t used to getting cuts, they could be anxious during a cut. Three, for fades it is something I am always double checking for lines and a good blend. That’s just how our shop and how I was taught.
I Try to go every 2 weeks, my Hair grows pretty fast, like even at 10 days after the cut my fade from 0 to 1.5 looks like i never went down to 0 at all :D With my beard i want to go every week but hold myself back doing it xD

yooo lol, i’ve been watching this barber for a minute and this guy cannot cut at all. all his haircuts are literally a 1 all around the sides and a trim on top lol. i feel for the clients

Imo, when your hairline is struggling a bit, you neven go for a hard part, as you lose important volume. I think the before was better. I would have went for a really low fade.

The hair cut game has changed so much when I would go for hair cut tops it was 20 dollars with a shave. Now with shave/beard trim eye brows hair cut can be 30 dollars. When I have money I would try to get hair cut once a week or at least every two weeks.

Past tense of blow-dry: blow-dried. I think the two verbs, blowing and drying, can confuse people. In this case, you need to go by the verb ‘to dry’ and use its past tense.

I get my haircut every 6 months because I usually get it completely shaved and 6 months is when I hair starts to irritate me and my girlfriend and also because until I learn to shape my hair up and do different cuts then I’ll stop going every 6 months
