Ben, phenomenal video and I have everything queued up in my Amazon cart (used all your links as well), but had two quick questions. When you are riding on the Rover scooter, what selfie stick are you using and how do you have all those adapters and the receiver secured to it? I don't see the stick listed in the links and would love to get the same one. Thanks and keep crushing it! Love your work!

Thanks for using my links to support the channel! The stick I was using is the DJI Osmo Combo, this stick: amzn.to/2DDHnA1 and it's tripod legs: amzn.to/3gRiizP . And then the phone clamp I like is this mount: amzn.to/3kDsnmd (it has a cold shoe mount on-top which the Rode Go can slide right into)

Good review Ben. The 70 meters distance with the wireless go works only if the trasmitter and the receiver are in line of sight outdoors; if you turn your back and hide the transmitter with your body, or if there are other obstacles between the transmitter and the receiveror, the operating distance does not exceed 10 meters outdoors. If you work indoors, the walls bounce off the signal and then you have much more useful distance

THREE QUESTIONS: Getting ready to interview my elderly father about his life. (#1) Im guessing you would recommend a lapel mic for that? That big square hanging off your shirt seems a bit silly. (#2) Would you recommend this wireless system for doing travel video where I might capture waterfall sounds and birds and crowd noise as well? (#3) You never show us how you attach the receiver to your iPhone! Is there a video for that or how do you attach it and keep the wires from flopping around? Thanks for your input.

I plan to record videos with durations of up to two hours continuously, and I’m afraid that the battery of the iPhone may not last that long. There are adapters available for the iPhone with jack and lightning combined into lightning. The purpose of these is to enable headphones to be connected to your iPhone while charging simultaneously. I tried to use this with the Røde Wireless Go (including the SC7), but unfortunately unsuccessfully. Do you know of any way to charge the iPhone simultaneously while having the Røde kit connected?
