1. The tips mentioned about him about Linkedin, the spreadsheet tracker, reaching out to Alumuni , practising with friends. Everything about the guy is a well deserved, high quality candidate.
Con's of the video
1. You are releasing this now (Feb 2024), the person graduated in Dec 2022, Maybe interviewing 1-2 months before that
The job market was still good at that time, only few companies had started to layoff, but others were still hiring in full swing with high packages.
You should interview people who graduated now , and ask them , how many have multiple offers and if the offers have decreased in amount.
60% of graduating batch in many places do not have offers.
Agreed - I had lost the footage of the video and then had a guilt trip because we spend time on recording this. so I had to reach out to Zoom and get them to help me download the cloud recording and so on. Finally when I got hands on, I still wanted to share as the tips are still very relevant to anyone who is seeking job, but market is rough which I agree.
I will be releasing a video next week of someone who got into Google this year :) and had other offers. But overall the job market is really rough right now.

Hey, i never said the content is bad. The content is awesome. It helped me as well. But when people sitting in india see such videos think everyone gonna get 5 offers, everything gonnna go well. But if you see the reality, i am from USC. People who have been passing out since May 23, there are so many who have not even received interview calls/offers or they are getting offers rescinded.
I am just saying that right now, seeing such videos potrays a very different picture

Why you always talk about good side of story? Take interviews of ppl who is struggling of getting selected in lottery exploitation by employers and the list is endless
