It is an many hundred years old norwegian folk song. Ir’s about two young lovers, Bendik and Årolilja. Ir’s a tragic lovestory, that ends up with Bendik being sentenced to death by the King, and even decapitated. Later young Årolilja dies from grieving her love.

No, all their lyrics are in quite archaic dialects of Norwegian.
This is not really Norwegian... its kind of a really old version of norwegian and swedish.
