I have heard a lot of good things about those tisas 1911's but i have no personal experience with them. Nice looking pistol and the 9mm/38 super combo is neat.
I bought one of these a couple weeks ago . SDS/Tisas still does not show them on their website . Have not fired it yet but fit and finish seems really good

I wasn't expecting this. I own the Tisas Commander in nickel finish in 9mm (blem version). I don't understand the nickel plated sights!? What is the point of that?

Does the .38 Super still have a SIGNIFICANT velocity edge over the 9mm?
Not factory loadings. They are maybe a little bit more powerful than 9mm. But if you hand load it you can really ramp it up.

I have two Kimber and three Springfield Armory 1911’s and neither of those companies offer them in 38 Super. Anything else?😑
