- The day has come and i finally lowered the ST! Im really happy with the results because like i said in the beginning i didnt want to be super low and this kit gave me the exact height i wanted! Not too low but the wheel gap is much less noticable. Hope you guys enjoyed the video and ill catch you on the next one bros!

This guy is a mechanics worst nightmare.
2nd like let's gooo boi, I love your ST man, looks great.👍🏻
+Justin Harris thanks man!
Car gets cleaner with every video!!!!!!
+SCUG thanks man!!
anytime brotha
3:55 i know im years late but to remove that bracket that the endlink attaches to use a 15mm offset box wrench and a hex key at the same time. i know because i ran into that same issue.
I'm 7 months late but I'm just now doing this job and it really is a pain in the ass. You can't get the box wrench in there due to there being two metal walls up on either side and the spring above. Literally the hardest part of the job.
I hear that Kendrick Humble in the background haha. Can't wait for the handling impressions.
+TORQUE & TECH lol! Yep our morals were down so we needed some Kendrick! And I'm liking it so far. I need more time in it though ha
Koriginal ST haha awesome man.
You're going to enjoy the way the ST handles now, plus the fact that the rake gives better straight-line handling at higher speeds (100+ mph) -- track speeds only, of course; unsafe on the pot-holed streets we drive on daily. Once the Quaife LSD is installed, you'll have a great performance machine. Do yourself a favor, get the LSD as your next upgrade. IMO, the LSD is the single most important upgrade an ST driver can make to this car.....thanks for the great videos; you have the common sense of a good driver/mechanic...cya
+Jack Sternquist great advice man! I'll look into it and haha yea I wanna do whats clean and worth it no side ways wheels crap lol
Don't worry about wheel gap too much. I did Koni struts and Eibach lowering springs on my Volvo before I got my ST. After about a month, they slowly break in and you'll get lower.
+darkstar1935 awesome! Nice to know. Because initially there is still gap ha
I've had these on for a while and they are great, but after a couple of thousand of miles the stock struts and shocks get rough. I'm looking to replacing those. Ride height is perfect. If you do h&r 20mm spacers , no wheel gap.
Looking good!!! I have the same springs on my 14 FoST , it drops a lot more in the rear than the front, also got my wheel spacers 20mm front,25mm in the rear....AGGRESSIVE LOOK...wheel spacers next bro......Great Videos
,That's why I had professionals install my springs. took them with the alignment, 2 hours.
+Thomas Whitmore I REALLY wish I paid to get them done lol!
You got them done, that's what counts. It was a learning experience. I think I would have done it myself if I had a spring compressor, but then I realized I didn't want to die from a spring. Lol!!
+Thomas Whitmore no lie it was definitely a good learning experience. But I not know I'll never do it again hahahaa. The back was a cakewalk though
Koriginal ST why you say that? you did fine, man. shops charge at least $300 for that job (that's a new sway bar and endlinks right there). Have you done it again since then?
looks great! great how to. use lubrication ... the struts come out and in so much easier if you lube the knuckle
so from a fellow red st owner. I just recently lowered my car. and those exact problems me and my boys also had. I too stripped the bolt on the left side. and had to get them replaced. I got extras if you need it.
+Alfredo Ascencio already replaced tho bolts man thanks! But I'm still worried about the end link cause we popped it out of the socket so I think I want to replace it aha
You should get some wheel spacers, i think it would look more aggressive, but still looks legit right now! 👍
I just did my lowering springs and can confirm that sh*t is a pain in the ass
very good video! I just bought the exact same splitters and springs haha :D really like to see the finished look even before the parts are delivered :-)
Just a heads up when you change the drop links in the future you don't use grips.. as it can damage the boot on the ball joint. If you look at the top of the thread there's an allen key port
I'm guessing you mean the front left hub bolt? You gotta C-Clamp the hub back together once you get the strut in place and fully seated. If you don't and try to pull the hub back around the strut you risk messing up the threads. You could always get a longer bolt and put a nut on the other end to tighten it if the oem threads are trashed.
+CJ Wooten that's exactly what happened! And we ended up getting longer bolt with a nut a CD loctite! Lol
Looks good, I notice you got some ST center caps for your rims, I just got some a couple of weeks ago, I just got a new shift knob, it's made by Ford so it has the reverse lockout, it's Carbon fiber with the shift pattern and red ST logo very cool.
Should have loosen the axle nut and when axle comes off from hub it makes easy to take out strut
Why didn’t you just remove the strut with the hub still attached? Wouldn’t of then had to separate the hub from the strut to save time, can still change spring with hub on just drop from upper mounts
You make me happy today lol finally going low!!!!
+Manuel Rico aha I know finally!

I'm surprised you didn't mark the top of the strut assembly before removing everything. Didn't some of the how-to vids mention to mark the bits to make sure they all line back up properly?
After so long on the suspension drop, how'd it feel? After this long, did the factory struts last? I have these exact springs (H&R Sport from JST) coming in tomorrow. I've watched a few vids already but watching yours again to get familiar with it. Should be pretty simple. Ive done many car projects in the past and they're all nearly identical. Prob just go rent the spring compressor kit or buy one from Harbor Freight lol
btw...new springs need time to settle. It'll drop slightly more once you drive on them for a few hundred miles
Springs never gave any issues and the drop was PERFECT. Personally. And same with the struts no issues whatsoever. I only used for 2 years tho until I traded the car in so how it’s holding up now. I can’t tell ya
Sick ST man 👌🏽🤤 I was wondering how the struts are holding up and if you wish you would’ve just went to coil overs instead. I want to get the same lowering springs but want your opinion on it. Any feedback would be appreciated!
👀
I got them installed on my st and they are really good and smooth till the day no problems on my end
looks sweet man!
brutaaal!!! que coche y que preciosidad
Looks dope bro! What front lip is that?!
Looking sick bro. How much did those drop it? I just ordered the Steeda's for $220 normally $290 couldn't pass it up and they are about 1" front 1.4' rear, curious how it compares.
+Metallkopf86 thanks dude! And it was 1.4 In the front and 1.3 In the rear. And I paid $224 free shipping and I think the drop is perfect!! It looks even In the front and back and I like it
6:10 next time use penetrating oil and then a heavy hammer/ mallet to separate the damper from the spindle. when you continue to spread the spindle with the bolt and screw driver you can spread the spindle too much.
Haha sorry bout to rough install, next time don’t get backyard mechanics to do it. Love the look tho
Hey! What is the model number for the h&r springs that you are on?
so you're done uploading?
You need some garage line 35mm wheel spacers I have same springs no wheel gap
+travis hoelscher forreal?... So tempting..
I only use the spacers on my stock winter rims and I have gold enkei rpf1 with 35mm off set for summer and filthy fitment
Are these the h and r sport springs ?
Did you paint your rims?
Your ST looks so badass! Can you tell me please, where you have the ford emblem overlays from?
+HamiPlays from a guy from Instagram. His user is gelbadgesau
Koriginal ST thanks man :)

What wing lip are you using? People are saying its for a BMW but for what year & what Bmw?
+Joe St3 all you got to do it go to ebay. And search 41" bmw spoiler lip. Find one that looks similar to mine. I took a risk on the one I bought and it turned out bad aha. I bought a 45" version. So just choose right dude!
Koriginal ST thanks man i will look into it, i followed u on instagram my IG is @JoeSt3_
very nice.. where do u guys usually have cars and coffee.. I live in Visalia
+Nick V at the kohls in Rosedale. Last Saturday of the month!

+Nick V most I've seen at one car's and coffee is 5 and that's including us 4 st bros aha
about to order these. How is the ride quality?? Great videos
+Mister Kenova honestly I'm very happy with these. Feels like stock man and looks so much better!
Koriginal ST how low is it?
Is this 4K video?
+timothy alvarado no editing takes longer so I just been shooting 1080 ha
hey bro what year is your st?
2015
Watching you take off the lug nuts out of your tires made me cringe. I knew something like that could of happened. Never take off the lug nuts like that or put them on like that. You always want to screw them in slowly each by hand a few turns and then slowly torque them back in. Same with taking them off you don't want to use all the power to take them off, you want to slowly take them out never full power. Nice ride
All you need is wheels
+gerardos925 dudeee I went this Friday to get some but couldn't afford them! Lol! As soon as I get the funds man you already know
Koriginal ST you'd probably get a better deal on the internet honestly lol.
