The original E-wing had a cover to protect the astromech and a third laser canon on top. But this still looks good.
As a reader of Dark Empire when it was published, this almost brings a tear to my eye.

I really thought it would be another 2/3 years til we would get to see the E-Wing in toy form. Was waiting for it to get more screen time. It's here so no complaining from me. 🎉
So excited for this reveal! It looks amazing and awesome to also pipeline the pilot. Really cool that you also added the storage space (something i wish was done with the Ghost "wings"). This was a great surprise today and going to be such a great addition to our fleets 🔥
Do you play with them or just mount them somewhere?
@@blackmore4 wish I had space to mount them or do a cool display but I just play with them and do diorama setups and take pictures and do some videos with them. Even if I did display them tho I'd still be playing with them
@@JonRunner88. Well, that's cool. I always remember thinking as a small boy how boring it must be for adults without any toys to play with. And though I too stopped playing with toys at around 12 years old, now, in my fifties, I thinking it may be time to start up again! :)

Amazing! I fell in love with this ship when I saw it on screen for just a few moments. I still have the old EU ship guidebook, but this design is so much better. Losing the gun right over the cockpit was a good start. Also keeping your droid buddy visible is good too, never liked having them hidden away in the old design. Any Star Wars snub fighter is instantly made better with a socket for your Swiss Army Droid.

This is an incredible looking vehicle and I love the droid. I have no problem with Callahan coming separately… after all they did in the Kenner days. I would like to ask about a flight stand. Chris didn’t mention one for this. I feel they are an essential display tool to really show off these vehicles. My N-1 is in constant display but the lack of versatility with my blue leader X-Wing means it spends most of the time packed away, when a flight stand would give it much better posability. Hope you might consider this. 👍
I think this is a great offering!!! It includes a figure, and thankfully the pilot will be a separate release so we can get multiples. Also, the price is BELOW a repainted merrick’s X-wing from a couple years ago.

I always felt that the V-19 Torrent could also pass for an E-Wing fighter, especially with it's wings deployed down
How?? Sorry i don't see it, there's no long nose, the cockpit canopy shape is more like an A-wing's. It's wings even deployed down and overall shape in how long they are actually resemble a V-Wing Airspeeder, than a E-Wing. You'd have to pull those nacelles/engines further along the actual wingspan and stretch that front part out into more of a nose pointed like an X-Wings to get anywhere close to the look of the E-Wing.
@@RaikenXion I didn't mean that the V-19 looks like the actual E-Wing......I just meant that when you deploy the two wings down and also fold down the tail piece, it looks like a virtual E shape. That's all

Seems like $100 is the new star fighter entry price. The details on this are very nice but the price seems rather steep. But then again this is much nicer than the $45 speeder bikes.

Looks so clean and plastic. How did they do such a great job on the X-Wing weathering to the point it looks like a model, but everything else looks like a strait up toy.
