    Funny back when Galaxy Edge was announced I think many thought this land was a goner. And then when that didn't happen I assumed it was being ear marked for something else like maybe a Frozen area or maybe even Pandora some day. Instead this area has gotten the biggest upgrade since Roger Rabbit was added 30 years ago. Well done Disney!

    The only reasons to go to Toontown now are the quiet areas, the fountain, the Runaway Railway ride and Goofy's play house. The rest of the land should be razzed and rebult. You can't do much at Donals houseboat and Micky and Minnies house is just for meet and greets. I do like the music they have though, not to much and not overwhelming.

    The tree looked like it got budget cut but the rest of toontwon looks good

    • @mushieslushie
      @mushieslushie Před rokem +3

      I think more got cut then that. I feel like there was more planned for the coaster, all they did was change the name and then add a statue of gadget after they removed her from the name... Seems odd. I know this was always a refresh but I feel like there is no comparison between this and super Nintendo land.

      Unless the tree is a real tree and not fake. It will take a while for the tree to grow and be like in the concept art. I actually prefer it to be real than fake though.

      Super Nintendo land despite not being as big is much more impressive visually. I don’t know why but this toontown feels….. lifeless? Like a big playground that went through a budget cut.

    What kills me is they took out the iconic Roger fountain, which gave the area a better aesthetic flow, for a line of fake grass cutting across the pavement at an uneven angle.

    Please refrain from waving the camera back and forth with constant movement. Allow us to see something before you move the lens off it. Too much swaying and shifting.

  • @godkeebler
    @godkeebler Před rokem +3

    I’m sorry it seems to be missing something. Chaos. It seems lacking any kinetic energy. Boring even. I was hoping for more. Toon town to me will always be when Eddie and Roger enter the land of toons. This is like a city park idea of play whimsy. Not a Disney toon land. Where are the gags.

    • @Pooleman96
      @Pooleman96 Před rokem +5

      Mickey's Toontown always had a kind of "kids' play area" vibe to it even back in the 90's. I mean back then it was full of bounce houses and ball pits. If anything, the lack of the Roger Rabbit kinetic energy is because of how it's been years since Disney and Amblin had the fallout that resulted in the premature discontinuation of the franchise.

    • @rexrabbiteer
      @rexrabbiteer Před rokem

      That’s exactly what I thought. It lacks the wackiness that the old toon town had. It feels too.. bland and safe.

      @@rexrabbiteer If I'm going to be honest, I always figured that had they renovated Toontown, it was going to be more in the favor of Mickey & friends rather than Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
