      I saw Jerry Miculek at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
      He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
      I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
      The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
      When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

      @thewatcher611 Před 26 dny

      It will keel! Usually I say, whatever you want to train with the most, will be the best one to have in that case. In this case, I guess I'd still say that. I am sure you can end a threat with it. It'll handle any 9mm you put in it, as long as it chambers, and lets the wheel turn. A case could be made for this thing full of hollow points, it's an 8 shot, like some single stack 9mm autos, and you could be really fast with it. Reloads are faster on a semi auto mag fed pistol. Some shooting incident experts will say that you'll most likely run out of time, before you run out of ammo, in a shooting incident. You think about that. It's a $3500 revolver. It'll be a great revolver. Is a great revolver what you need? If you came here to ask this question, my guess is that you probably shouldn't be looking at revolvers for this purpose. Revolvers are an expert's weapon, not for the less experienced, or new gun owners. Just my opinion.

    I have his 929 and 625. I'm not forking out $4000 out the door for this one. A bit pricey

      Agreed. You can almost get a Manurhin or Korth for that kind of money.

    I can't help but feel that this is a miss step for the industry with several companies trying to make optic ready revolvers. Now I may look like a total idiot in the future, but it's just hard for me to see (once the revolver competitive shooter community is satiated) the guys still using revolvers to want to use optics. I mean they've stuck with an outdated platform, you think they'd be receptive to the benefits of red dots? Again I do expect sales initially to the comp shooters, I'm just saying after that's done. I don't see the revolver crowd moving to red dots. Most of the ones I've met don't even believe in defensive ammo.

      Revolver comp shooters have been doing pretty hacky stuff to get optics on revolvers for YEARS....what's so new and offensive about it? Seems like the same crowd would welcome an optics ready model. Especially like this, since say, the .357 mag shooters have been doing mods to use moon clips, and trying to load shorter cartridges for a long time as well. The 9mm revolver with moon clips is what a lot of shooters are looking for.

    I like Jerry but this gun would just be another S&W product that’ll probably end up needing to be sent back for repair or due to some faulty QC. Pass

    This is an ugly gun at a price that i’d rather buy a nicer blued or stainless revolver for (especially one without a hillary hole) THEN get aftermarket modifications like porting. I’ll pass.
