I know this is an old video and you reading my comment is rare chance..
Anyway just wanted you to know that honking means to let the other drivers know your presence..
You honk where there is a connecting road and you are going straight, you honk when there is a blind turn, you honk when you want to overtake, you honk when you want space, and you honk when you want the pedestrian, cows, dogs to move from the road..
Also, most of the people don't use the footpath/sidewalk is because in some places there are illegal shops which take the entire space of sidewalk. As well there are some cities where the footpath is not cleaned enough and is filled with garbage and other bodily fluids.. so to avoid all this it has become a habit of Indians to walk on the road..

    1) It's advisable to avoid staying in very cheap hotels, as most decent ones provide reliable shower facilities. Super cheap places tend to have these issues, and even locals avoid such cheap places.
    2) It's recommended to eat at clean restaurants rather than from roadside vendors, especially when traveling from a different country. Your digestive system may not be as accustomed to local spices as the locals, and it's safer for your health & you wont end up having food poisoning.

No we dont have switches at power outlets in the US in most places. People will just unplug the things they want unplugged or turn the item switch off. Of course there are things like a router that could be running 24/7 unless you turn it off. Things like televisions also draw power while turned "off" because they need to still recieve the remote signal. We do have outlets that go off if theres an electrical surge in the bathroom and i freaking hate those. So i can just imagine how annoying these outlet switches areif theyre all over the place. Yeah, we use that. For our privates and our hands. After we use the toilet, before we eat.

The reason why they honk so much is because honks are used as a signal to signify if someone wants to go faster and over take someone else. This is due to there being not many street signs in India.

@@starryskyhighway9628 Scammers are associated with Indians because they're the one making noise and getting noticed. If you compare the numbers to the entire population, they're a very small percentage.
