My first prime lens back in 2018 🥲Immediately got the 35mm F/2 from Fuji when I switched over
Very thorough review of one of my favorite goto DSLR lenses, nice work.
I have a D7000 and love it .
Tip: use on a full frame lens whitout the crop. Yes. it has vigneting, but is quite usable.
Yeah, some cropped lenses barely vignette on FF. And they say this one is nice. Unfortunately, don't have Nikon FF to check it out. Hopefully in future...
The DX 35MM is ok as a crop lens, as use on full frame it was short of good.
There's much better bokeh in the 50mm 1.4 at about the same price on ebay. I'm a little bit of a blurry-background lover.
Same here, and I actually own the old 50 1.4D, but first it is soft wide open, only gets sharp from f/2 up and second, imho 50 mil is a bit too tight for cropped sensor in casual use. Not so versatile as 35. And fast 50 is my all-time favourite on FF. BTW Canon is to release RF 35mm f/1.2... That would be fun 😊
canon don't need that kind of lense because DLSR is dead, Nikon autofocus is dead. also nikon is dead.
The point here is that Canon never had it even during DSLR era =)
Nikon is alive and well. Its latest CIPA numbers are out. DXOmark puts it at the top in Cameras and lens quality (85m 1.2) and performance. Z8 is the best selling camera of 2023, Nikon Zf at 3rd position. Best selling lens Nikon Z 24-120, third place is also a Nikon 180-600.
yea sure buddy DSLR will never be dead you are too much involved in this "fast fashion world" a good picture is a good picture it doesnt matter with what device you shot it
Nikon acquired RED
“Rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated “
The 40mm 2.8 dx micro is just as good, maybe better.😊
