    The amount of energy stored in that flywheel can easily kill you. Never spin it up and stand in its plane of rotation unless there is very strong (near bulletproof) barrier between you. This is not something to be taken lightly.

    Is it possible to add a second battery set to a car and use this motor to recharge another backup battery. Is it going to affect car speed or will it consume more energy?

    • @aarravoltics4592
      @aarravoltics4592  Před 6 měsíci

      Yes, you can connect this regenerative braking system to a smaller battery (12v battery in a car). When braking, instead of using the car brakes which waste all the excess energy, the energy is converted to electricity by the generator and the 12v battery is slowly charged.
      So, instead of using an alternator to charge the 12v battery, this can be used.
      This will actually consume less fuel in the car. The alternator consumes some of the energy the engine produces. But if the alternator is replaced with this regenerative braking system, the mileage (fuel efficiency) of the car slightly increases.
      This is why, the new electric and hybrid cars have regenerative braking.

    What happens if you press the switch again before the flywheel finishes braking? For example, just 2 seconds after pressing it the first time to act as a generator. Would the motor burn out? 5:57

    • @aarravoltics4592
      @aarravoltics4592  Před 9 měsíci +1

      If the switch is pressed, the flywheel will start accelerating again.
      But this might overload the motor and gears system because power is given to the motor instantly and power will be high until the flywheel reaches its max speed.
      To solve this, a constant current power source can be used to prevent overload of the motor.

  • @aayush212
    @aayush212 Před 2 lety

    Very nice and simple demonstration. So, according to your theory you used 50w power to energize the battery and in return you got 150w from the generator. If your practical theory is correct then you can try one more thing from this same experiment. You might know that this much energy within 1-2 seconds can only be stored in a Supercapacitor. So all you have to do is make a supercapacitor bank of 300w and a 150w buck-boost converter for converting output from your motor to store in supercapacitor at a fix voltage.
    Here what you will be doing is you invest only 50w and you get 300w power stored in supercapacitor bank in 3 cycles. So all you have to do is energize the flywheel form external source first time only and then when in regenerative mode, it stores 150w in supercapacitor and in 2nd cycle you use supercapacitor as power source and use 50w from 150w stored and when again in regen mode you store 150w again with 100w remaining so you got total 250w stored this time and in 3nd cycle you again use supercapacitor as power source and use 50w from 250w stored and when again in regen mode you store 150w again with 200w remaining so you got total 300w stored this time.
    So in the end if the capacitor holds 300w then this proves your theory correct and mine also 😜and you got free energy just by investing 50w of power. In near future this supercapacitor concept will be used in every electric vehicle but at present the supercapacitor costs too much but this will change.
    .
    Sorry for this long comment but if you like my concept then please give it a try and make a detailed video on that. And if you have any doubt then reach out to me through comments.
    Thanks for making such videos 🙏🙏🙏

    • @aarravoltics4592
      @aarravoltics4592  Před 2 lety +2

      Thanks for your comment
      I'll surely try your method.
      In my opinion:
      I'm not creating free energy here. According to the laws of thermodynamics, you cannot create free energy.
      I used 50W of power for around 8 sec to spin up the flywheel. So, 400Watt seconds of energy to charge.
      In return i got around 150W for 1 sec. So, energy output is 150 watt seconds.
      Round-trip efficiency is only around 30-40% in my system.
      65% of energy is wasted as friction, heat and other losses in bearings, motor and generator.
      Even if you add a supercapacitor and charge it using the flywheel, you cannot create more energy. Energy can be stored in the capacitor and used later.
      If 1Wh of energy is used to charge, only 0.8Wh of energy can be extracted. 0.2Wh is lost as heat while charging and discharging.
      Efficiency is always less than 100% and there will always be some losses.
      So, free energy devices are impossible.
      Flywheels are used in large scales like in solar power plants. In the day time, the solar energy is used to spin up the flywheel and during night time it's used to supply the stored energy. But it's only around 80-95% efficient even in large scale.
      In this video I'm showing an alternative to lithium batteries (mechanical battery).
      There will always be energy losses so free energy is not possible.
      Please tell if I'm wrong in any part of my comment.
      Thank you
