This is based on book by Ruskin Bond named Susana seven husband. He is an amazing English writer from India.

This is one of best movies from Bollywood. Its based on Anglo-Indian author Ruskin Bond's short story: Sussana's Seven Husbands, which in turn is inspired from the fairy tale Bluebeard's castle. Ruskin Bond is Indian of British origin. He is a quite famous writer of the country. He too will make a bruef appearence near the end of the movie.

@@theawesomeman9821 well i just knew this one fact dude. havent read the book. cos i watched the movie first and was surprised to see ruskin bond towards the end. if i had to make a guess, id say vishal bharadwaj (who has made this movie if my memory serves me right) is sure have done justice to the text. fans of the written word thouh, would most surely like ruskin's writing better.
