Command and Conquer Generals Evolution is Generals remake mod which was built on Red Alert 3 game engine. This real time strategy game shows great performance, no FPS problems, no lag, new game maps, new units and structures. The game is based on General Zero hour, RTS game which continued the C&C game series.

Command & Conquer: Generals is a real-time strategy video game developed by EA Pacific and released in 2003. The game takes place in an entirely separate continuity that is completely unrelated to the Red Alert universe or the Tiberium universe. It is the first Command & Conquer RTS game to use 3D graphics in-game. Later that year, it was expanded with Zero Hour.
This game is actually a mod for Command and Conquer Red Alert 3, and so, in order to play it you need an original copy of Red Alert 3.
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 is a 2008 real-time strategy game developed by Electronic Arts Los Angeles. It is the third major installment in the Red Alert series and features the original two factions, the Allies and the Soviet Union, joined by the newly introduced Empire of the Rising Sun, a high-tech fictionalized Japanese army. Although co-op campaigns were not new to Command & Conquer games, as special co-op missions existed in Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge, Red Alert 3 was the first (and currently only) Command & Conquer game to exclusively use co-op mechanics in the main singleplayer campaign.

At this point, maybe EA should just give the modders official support and additional resources and let them make an official Generals Remake using the RA3 engine.

USA always need 2 or 3 avengers , it will shootdown incoming missiles from GLA very quickly, usualy I will make 2 groups if avengers. Keeping one at the front and one in the center or back. Leapfrogging forward. Also I will build a new defense line or points from time to time, even just a couple laserturrets. where I will put the rally point of factories
I was expecting the classic humvee+sniper+missile defender rush. Back in those days, getting about 10 of those along with the repair skill got the ball rolling so hard

not a fan of the grid based / no builder unit build system, and red alert 3 styled resource collection for generals, but this is nice to see ill admit
Not really RA3 system, Generals was the only CnC game that deviated from that model.
Imagine if the modders figured out how to make the original campaigns and the General’s Challenges in this mod! That’d be so dope!!

There's a small peeve there I guess.. the laser Turrets don't auto target the Rockets from The V-Launchers, like they did on The Original(s). Which is a shame. But over all.. It's visually beautiful.

To be honest the laser tanks look way better in the original in my opinion. These just look like generic tanks. Anyway I love your videos!

Watching this game in action today is almost like looking into a different time period. The GLA faction in particular is equal parts parody and political incorrectness--suicide bombers, farming tractors fitted with toxin-spewing chem throwers, the ability to turn vehicles scattered across the map into mobile IEDs, and a mob of angry civilians-turned-insurgents that wreck almost everything they come near and can be armed with AKs with an upgrade that proudly announces in a sterotypical Middle Eastern-accented voice "AK-47s for EVERYONE!!" followed by the approving roar of the mob. I have almost no confidence that this game could have been made in today's new hypersensitive political climate. And so it remains a relic of the times it was made in, for better or worse.
I just want Westwood devs make Generals 2! They are know how to do good strategy games . + Unreal Engine 5 for immersion will be total Nuked : )¨

No more dozer build construction, no more challenge generals, no more battleship navy i miss the old zero hours and rise of the reds. This game win the ra3 in building construction need dozer in ra3 all construction just only one click and waiting for loading 100% then up done the C&C generals it's win the ra3 that because it's real lifelike.

Yeah, higher is better, an 8 core Intel CPU or an expensive Ryzen cpu and RTX video card. 16 or 32 GB or ram ddr4.

Why do you build the power plants so close to the front line? I haven't played this mod but I can imagine that is a dangerous position for them for the Laser General
Most likely, it is built so close to power the laser more effectively. If the power plant was further away, the electricity would have to travel further and therefore, it would lose strength.

I really dont like the idea of 12 different keys for 12 different buildings. I wish it was like in Red Alert 2, 1 key for deploying any kind of building
@@zoom3000 I dont remember. I always played RA2 with mouse. But i dont feel tha uncomfrontable to have 12 different keys. The problems is that there are too many opions and building. Thats why the Mouse is used more often

RA3 was capped at 30, changing all that will need you to redevelop the game with an updated version of the engine and lots of other technical bullshit that only EA owns the rights to.

Sorry to say this the way I see your units makes no sense against those bunker defenses you keep throwing in your tanks and those drones for nothing , instead you should be making more tomahawks to soften those defenses and then send in your tanks and drones for the mop up. and the way you throw away those level up units is really a big waste !!!
Yep, I may agree it was some kind of waste here, but when you send mass of Tomahawks, the enemy can rush and kill them fast and easy. Combination of units its the key I guess - GG
Sure - except when those tomahawks get rushed by a tank or infantry charge from the flanks. Don't forget, he did send tanks and tomahawks and then got decimated by an airstrike somewhere in the middle of the video.
@@twinblade02 i saw that too its quite simple actually send in your f-22 raptors and also the ground anti air to provide cover while the tomahawks pound those defences and keep them protected with some armour also !!
