Check the tub with orange foam for a body I get absorbing water would cause it to sink but hey you never know could give closure to a family and solving a cold case
This video was SO cool. It makes me wonder what kinds of things we'd find if all the Earth's lakes were drained. 🤔 I'd love to take a metal detector there and see what type of loot is hidden!!

Henderson local here. We have had torrential rains and flooding for about 8 weeks daily. The lake is definitely not like this today- impossible to not be filling. Worst monsoon season in 10 yrs, but we needed it more than anything!
I have lived in Vegas for 48 years since 1974 there is also a shanty town underwater there somewhere too. When they were building the dam people lived there until they flooded the area. I would like to see you make a video of that. The water level has dropped severely about 1024 ft. at 900ft. critical we support 4 states and Mexico, they have found 6 bodies, lots of wrecked boats, and fish fossils. Brand new subscriber and viewer and I love the videos. Have you heard of Green Lake? If not it's a very cool thing to see. It's a lake in Austria that floods and becomes a beautiful clear water lake in the summer and then at the end of the summer it dries up and becomes a park that people visit. Wouldn't that be fun to explore.

I would assume the Barrel with a Chain was used as a Sew Anchor to slow the drift without stopping the boat. Old sailing trick from the wooden sailing ship days of the British Navy and similar. Colonial Tech.

If you ever get a chance to visit Powell I highly recommend it water levels going down there as well. Nice video. (Also it's way more beautiful than Mead but less treasure/wrecks I imagine)

I remember the last time I was at Mead, all the cool little coves you could go into and this was back in 2006.
You could see all sorts of stuff just under the water back then, so its just waiting to be picked up now

This is an awesome video and so interesting, I have been following these events from over here in the UK for several months now. However, it is also quite concerning, global warming and climate change sucks and we are ALL going to suffer sooner or later. Europe is currently engulfed in a heatwave, we have extreme temperatures coming by Monday and Tuesday next week!!

The Lake is quite different from the times I used to water ski, camp and cruise around in the 1960's!
Do you remember that "Closed for skiing" sign by the dam?
All I could think about when he found that green glass bottle is Capt. Jack Sparrow saying "I've got a jar of dirt" HAHAHA
That white barrel looked like an improvised drift anchor to me.
Barrel is a homebuilt trolling drag, using water drag to slow down.

From a survival point of view. You found some good stuff that old petrol had probably gone bad and won't run in a car but you could use it to clean wounds or you could use it to set fire to the tires and make a thick smoke signal that could be seen for miles

That one last boat that had its bow straight up…is completely exposed now…has been for a while now. Pretty crazy.

Great video guys. One thing. It seems with you tunnel visioning the boat wrecks you are not properly navigating those waters. Keep an eye out for those rocks.
It's actually really sad to see the lake so low, It supplies so much for surrounding communities.
I wish they could figure out a way to fill it back up, AFTER they go over it reakwell to clean all the junk up and make sore there's no more bodies in there.

We were there in '96 we rented two house boats and a pontoon. It was massive and now it's a bone yard.
