Thank you for watching Treasure Fam! As I said in the beginning of the video, we left everything we found with the wreck since Lake Mead is in a National Park, but it was fun exploring! If you enjoyed the video, please leave a huge LIKE! Also don't forget to subscribe to my buddy RJ32 czcams.com/users/rj32
But it is actually trash, so sad that you can't take this cool finds
There could be someone who owned that boat which has wrecked and the stuff inside it, so why not try to find the owner of that boat?
Then in my opinion they should go in and clean up some of that junk!
I don’t think they would mind you picking up trash. 🤷♂️
Idc, I would be taking what I wanted home with me
I love watching young people seeing things for the first time and not knowing what a lot of stuff is that I grew up with.
"It's so old" finds a phone 😄
Agreed… everything is so old!
He’s that young. Okay I get it but stop with the “so old”
And they don’t have a clue but a mover and again -“ this could be…” ah no
The phone is a push button. Not that old. Enough. I can’t watch any longer.
The tape was part of a stereo system called a reel to reel made by Sony , and victor record company circa 73-79. The kiddie fire extinguisher is a 1984 issue. The flag was added by a passer by as a tradition. Its whats left of a 50s house boat fiberglass and pontoons took hold in the market by 77.
Good catch! So def sunk in the 80s. I personally wonder if it was intentional for insurance purposes
Some kind of mini R2R tape.
Are you talking about the cassette tape?
@@carolmaccarolynraea..3153 reel to reel was a type of stereo that was pretty legit for the 70s. The tape is the same film used in cassettes, next were 8 track them cassette and picture disc, and then compact disc
@@GlamGoreChaosQueen dry rot or possible surprise leak that got ahead of bilge pump, lots of surprise summer storms that are gale force. It's been there awhile so who knows.
in my opinion they should clean everything out the lake while its empty
I thought same thing get rid of the junk keep artifacts!!!
It ain't filling back up
I completely agree! Why leave all that junk there? Recycle, throw it away, put it in a museum, make the area a lot cleaner. HOPEFULLY the lake will re fill
@@jamesstore7055 don’t spoil the blind hope.
Agreed clean it up
There is a B-29 bomber in the lake that I read is only now 15’ underwater and may possibly be exposed soon. Hopefully that will be recovered.
I dove that plane when it was 80 ft down.
That bird has to come out of the water, the Boomers only have so much time to rebuild it before the Legion attacks Hoover!
I get that they don't want people taking things from a National Park. However that should be only for certain things like fossils, bones, Indian artifacts. It shouldn't apply to junk that will just be back underwater if the water level goes back up.
that push button phone is a relic of a bygone era
key word "If"
I agree.😁
Yeah, except it's a slippery slope and you'd get someone in a court of law arguing that that "indian artifacts" is just junk left by people as well, no different than a soda pop can left yesterday... So it's easier to simply say, take nothing.
Yeah, gub’mint isnt very good at subtly, so they’ll stupidly enforce things like this
The flag!! When I saw that, I thought someone recently hung that! It's in such good condition. That's incredible!
I thought the same. It couldn't have been under water for years and still have color, or barely any rips. Someone must have attached that later
Lol.
Someone recently hung that up
They did
I
The boat can't be older than 1963 which is when push button phones were introduced. They became common for most households in the 1980s, so the boat probably dates back to that time frame, so the wreck has probably been there for around 40 years or so. Same thing with cassettes. They came out in 1965....
That food processor is 80s model
That cassette tape they found right at the end had a copyright date of 1972.
The flag has in no way been under water for any length of time.
Really lol first of all touch tone was introduced to few states to try it in 63 most ppl didn’t have one until mid 80’s that boat could have went down in 99 pffft
The boat can be older and have added the phone. But by the looks of the rest, it might have sunk in the 80s/90s.
Of all the videos I've watched lately, I can't believe nobody else has shown this boat. What an amazing find!
Remember lake mead is 247 square miles, and about 112 miles long. So there is alot of area to cover. All sorts of things are still left to find.
I really dont know why they used a really old pic of the standing upright boat... it's completely out of the water now and then some. Water dropped massively.
Sin City Outdoors.. go check em out if you haven't already. God bless 🙌
@@jeR-m They're great!! I love the father and sons. 😀
Hey, Dallas. Those were some amazing finds just from the one wreck. Can't believe there was unbroken crockery. My favourites were the telephone and the cassette tape. I still own a few tapes and still play them now and again.
It's winter here in NZ and the rain that fell here over the last week could have helped the lake. We had flooding, so we really had plenty to spare 😂
Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to more Lake Mead footage (if there is any). Stay healthy and safe 👍🏽 ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
That food processor in the background is a 1970's model from the styling and the color choices and that crockery looks like it from the late 70's or early 80's from the colors. I would expect more marine growth and wood decay if it had been underwater 50 years though.
That’s been out of water for 6 months….I have videos of us snorkeling around it when it was just below the water line in one piece about a year ago…now it’s nothing but drift wood!
do you still have the video of it, can that boat be identified and what did it look like>?
So the Boat was still intact? We need some sort of proof
The video is in the link above your comment
I think the state of Nevada should go in there and collect all of this “stuff” that has been uncovered and open a Lake Mead Museum!
You guys crack me up! Love watching you get excited when you find things!
Too funny this kid never saw a touch tone phone which is maybe a year older than him lmfao
The phone looks like a Western Electric, which means if you clean it up and plug it in it will probably still work. 😂
Glad the trip out was enjoyable for you. This was a fun series. Thanks for coming out!
Thank you Pam!
Great video of a awesome adventure! Thanks!
There was a wooden Chinese junk purchased by a local resident and moved to Lake Mead in the late 1960’s. I would recommend checking with the marina as they may have more information.
I'm 54 and I can definitely say that the phone was early 1980's, however, the silverware was circa 1950 and because the Yacht was all wood, it was very old! Great find! I hope that no bodies were there! It could've been someone's final resting place. 😪
It was mutiny aboard the ship. Too many rules from the captain. They made him walk the plank and sank the ship.
Arg
Very cool! How interesting and i never would have known this tajunga dam was there. Thanks for the birds eye view!!
imagine finding the owner of the boat and taking them to it
What a great video! Looks like so much fun to explore. 👍🏼
Awesome video!! My favorite finds were the metal signs. Those were so cool!!
Thank you for sharing!
What an awesome video!! I cant believe we found all that stuff, it was like we were the first people there. That was so much fun to explore! I hope we can find out more about this shipwreck. I would love to know the whole story!
Yes! I would love to hear the story behind this and so many others. 😀
rj32.... the whole story?.... It sank.
@@shoppe99 hahhaah
Omg you guys are so incredible! Never a dull clip with you!
I don't think most people realize how bad the Water Crisis is out here in arizona.. I try to explain to people I make videos about it and most people just don't take it seriously and realize that it's an emergency
The one thing that gets my blood pressure up more then anything is this “fact” that you can’t go to federal or state parks to metal detect or treasure hunt. Our taxes pay for that land and the “authorities” salaries. But you better pay your property taxes or the authorities will be treasure hunting your property after your evicted.
Federal and state parks belong *jointly* to everyone who pays taxes for them, not just any one person. If everyone did whatever the hell they wanted to do in a park, because they thinks it's "theirs", then they have potentially ruined the enjoyment for all the other people. For instance, if multiple people dig up a bunch of plants because they're treasure hunting, now they've ruined the parks for the people who want to enjoy nature.
That was an old Revlon Makeup Bottle . I used to wear that brand . Charles Revson called that Touch and Glow. 😊
Irritating that the park isn't cleaning all this unearthed trash out of the lake. People that live or go there regularly should organize a lake clean up.
Why? It didn't bother you when it was underwater. Suppose we should clean up all the mines that dot the west? Better dig up all the old railroad tracks and towns no one lives in too.
Its a great idea to clean up the lake.
Cool finds! That RJ guy is pretty good at finding stuff, hope to see more videos with him!
"...the law says we can't take anything from the park..."
*proceeds to loot anything of remote value*
😂😂😂
Fantastic finds Dallas, and RJ. All the things you found including the boat should be in a museum before it going back underwater. There are so many artifacts there, it was an incredible find. Have a great day my friend ❤🙂.
All of this stuff should be in a museum
Sooo coool
@@bethcorey6022 Not really….It is not that old! They probably have the stuff from the 80’s in the Smithsonian….😂👋🏼🇨🇦
Donna Mitchell... If you want to see boats like that, go down to your locale marina, you can see dozens of boats that "should be in a museum". Sheesh, you're making me feel old.
@@shoppe99 I wish the marina was still here. It's only ships that come into our harbor now. Your not that old lol. Have a great day 😀.
the Cassette tape in 12:05 is in german. second line means "part of the overall record, part 1" the rest are names and "Dirigent" means conductor
Might be my favorite video! So cool!
Awesome! Great video
Great video!!
This is a perfect time to clean up the lake
Antiques and Ancient finds from the 1970's & 80's, probably a lot of potential museum items.
Everything that I saw as a young man.
Abandon ship, wait i have to finish 😂😂😂 that really cracked me up, great vid guy's and hope you can find the history and story with this boat 😎
Anything pass 1990's is antique to you young man
Whoops! I pulled a broken hardhat and a pair of abandoned boots out of a national park once. I guess that makes me a felon! (In my country we have volunteer work parties that go out and clean up the parks. It's seen as a good thing to do)
Sometimes finding the old cork boots, means a logger died there.
Yeah it's stupid! I had a friend who was visiting the grand canyon, he came across a bunch trash which included broken up China from the grand canyon lodge.. Kinda like someone took a bag of trash from the dumpster and tossed it out in the woods. Anyway, he bagged it up and took it and tossed it in the trash. He made the mistake of telling a ranger about it, He ended up getting fined $5000 for it. For being a Good Samaritan!
I think you need to open up a museum and put a lot of this stuff in a big museum I think this would be very awesome to do
Lmfao
First thing I would do would be to call the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and let them know about the site. I'm guessing this could, even though fairly recent, be of interest to them and they should be the ones digging and cataloging the artifacts found there.
It’s cool you guys are actually looking- no other CZcamsr who’s been there actually looks at what’s there!
I sure wish you guys could have kept some of that stuff lol........ OK what did you guys keep.
Love the metal signs!
I watched your videos in facebook and yeah I'm here in CZcams. I'm a fan of you Dallas, watching from Philippines❤️
Hey Dallas! I've really been enjoying your videos. I can't help but think of making a drinking game out of them and do a shot every time you say "crazy." But that would be crazy! Thanks for your posts.
awesome video!
Those Captain plates, signs probably brass. They could clean up pretty nice I bet 👍
How many priors
I can watch this all day
All this stuff would make a very interesting decor for a pub or small restaurant.
I want more. We need a part 2
Hey Dallas you should come to northeast Tennessee. We’ve got a great river you could dive called the Nolichucky. It’s full of floaters and fisherman every year. I’m sure you could find some good treasures.
That’s a 1970s phone. The only way I can think that could work is when they docked they plugged into a line at the marina
It’s 100% a Chris Craft Commander. Dual Cat diesel engines, the bridge and the portholes all match. Best guess is a 1966-69 Commander 47’
How come "Junk" cant be removed when that stuff shouldnt be under water in the first place?? Would you not want to make an effort to clean the lake before the water goes back up??
And as if the water will ever go back up. It wont if Joe Biden can do anything to stop it. That is his evil destructive nature or that of his handler ccp?
Crazy the stuff that’s been preserved under that lake all these years.
I’d love to know more about this boat!
Nice. New subscriber here. Thanks for sharing.
How fun was that!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Aww thank you! I'm glad you're enjoying my adventures :)
Its from the mid to late 80s. I know because I spotted a Juicer appliance and those touch tone type of phones didn’t come out until maybe 1984-ish. The cappuccino cups are also not very old. It’s really not that old, 35 years maybe for the age of the boat and maybe 20 years since the wreck happened. Cool find though.
Uh..the touch tone phone came out in the early 60s. I remember them as a kid in the early 70s.
'84-ish, LOL
Yeah, I would be a criminal, because I would definitely be taking some of those boat artifacts! ✌🏼❤️
Especially the flag….😉
Lisa Uptagraftt. To think you would say that while Joe Biden and that nancy pelosi are stealing us all blind and commiting treason . Is really weird. Biden and pelosi all of that garbage should be in jail.
Me 2....those cups would be worth $
It appears the boat was evacuated in a hurry. Most likely caught in a storm. Lake Mead can be extreme in storms.
Cool lake 👍
Interesting video! 👍
Omg 🎉❤Asme. Thanks thanks again ❤
I'd have a hard time leaving that coffee mug. I don't think I could do it.
Near as I can figure, it looks like this was a Chris Craft Commander. Early to mid 50s. Hopefully an antique boat expert can chime in.
oh my gosh dude! geezzz
Really cool guys!! But that phone was rather modern when I was a teenager :)
That flag has not been underwater.
That phone is from the late 1960 s.
I would say the boat was built in the 1950 s from the style of some of the fittings.
Yessssss I’ve been waiting for this ❤️❤️❤️ a day after my birthday and I’m having a horrible one as I tested positive for covid so sitting in my room really I’ll do u have made my day as I love ur videos thank you 🙏🏻 😍

Go to a Farm Supply store and buy a bottle of Ivermictrin for pigs or cattle. 1cc per 100 pounds of weight in a glass of orange juice and you'll be healed.
I've been using Ivermictrin since 2001!
Joanne Jojo. Sorry you got that china virus . I had its rough.
Our flag is still waving after decades underwater 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Hey man whats up from Odessa Texas 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
Dallas amazing one again bro. You need to buy a tape player 🤣🤣🤣
Gaddamn I’m old , dude goes “ it’s so old “ the phone ain’t even rotary lmao I’m guessing late 80s early 90s wreck. Still cool as hell to stumble upon
I appreciated this video. Very interesting. Also, I truly appreciate the way you guys avoided using a lot of inappropriate words....for example, the F word and foul language. It's truly refreshing and made watching the video enjoyable. There's nothing old school about being respectful of your entire potential audience. I will look for more of your videos.
Cool find
Great video! Even better the imagination you guys have, Ha❗️❗️😁. btw: that was makeup foundation not nail polish 💅🏼. Couldn’t help myself laughed out loud 🤣🤣😁❗️
Only a female would known that. lol Rose ty
Very interested! 👍
Thanks
Judging from all the items shown, I would probably say she went down sometime in the mid to late 70's. Possibly into the early 80's.
I turned 13 in 1980 and lived through the 80s. Everything from the cassette to that food processor seen in 3:23 is 1980s. From my memory these were common designs in 1982 and 1983.
From Philippines.💚🇵🇭
The earliest that phone was the sixties the first push button as I remember
I had that same phone in my house back in 2001
Lake Mead is a closed system for craft that size. It wasn't trailered in like a small boat for a day trip. There must be records of a craft that size: berthing, rental, scuttling, accident / stolen report, etc. The info is there in park, harbor master, or Clark Co sheriff records.
They had many, many houseboats at the marinas in the 70’s and 80’s.
From Philippines ❤️❤️❤️
Cool lake
Nice sandals 😁😁😁😁
Very nice video
Good video 😊📸
You should give that old phone to ET .. I've heard word that he's searching for one to contact his home 🤔
I think you found Black Beard’s pirate ship. Look for gold. Lol 😂
That sign should go to a museum
All museums reading the comments, the sign is there at the boat wreck ready for you to harvest!
I don't understand why the Park Service doesn't clean up all the junk and boats when they've got the chance. Are they waiting for the water to completely disappear and then they'll just say it's a park and pick up all the junk and boats and plant some grass ?
So much awesome stuff to search, sadly we have nothing like this in the Uk worth looking at! Always trash trash trash in our rivers and waterways
