If you still currently have bad anxiety symptoms listen up.
Do not ever let the symptoms stop you living your daily life as it'll make things worse. Carry on as normal. you're not in danger.
How many heart attacks have you thought were coming on but didn't, how many strokes. 0 right?
Every day you make it to the end and wake up the next morning.
I still have daily symptoms but i don't worry about them, I acknowledge they are there and I carry on with my day.
I have a tension like headaches from morning to evening literally every day. Pins and needles and full body aches but hey what doesnt kill you makes you stronger 💪🏾💪🏾

    • @Aztrizo
      @Aztrizo Před 9 měsíci +7

Thx man I needed to hear this and it made me cry I haven’t gone to a doctor yet but I know it’s anxiety because it all started when I was overthinking way too much about something that was going on with me and ever since that day I have been dealing with pressure headaches, twitching, pins and needles, gagging, dizziness and at first i remember I didn’t feel like eating because I would loose my appetite. But I just hope that I soon feel better and go back to normal🙏🙌

    • @Joshundacuvva

@Aztrizo it's tough mate, before expencing it 1st hand I thought anxiety was just a word, I'm not sure what caused it for me but it's still ongoing. Tension headaches is my no 1 symptom literally there most of the day but I'm at the point where I don't let it control what I do or don't do.
When your symptoms come on and you start to feel the feeling of dread or terror just remember it's not life threatening, even know you feel like the worst is about to happen it never does.

In 2012 I had a brief panic attack that seemingly came out of nowhere. That should have been the end of that, but my overreaction to it was so extreme that it was like a catalyst, sending my stress and anxiety out of control. I had all kinds of symptoms including fatigue, leg weakness, weight loss, and insomnia. But the thing that really sent me over the edge was when my muscles started twitching all over my body. That really put my health anxiety into overdrive. I probably went to the doctor more times that year than I ever had before. Of course they never found anything physically wrong with me, but that was a rough time in my life. It probably took me a full year to completely recover.

This was exactly me a few weeks ago. Had mild tooth pain from coughing due to a small cold/sinus infection, managed to overstress myself over my belated dental work(couldn't afford everuthing last year) so much that the left side of my face was tense and numb for a few days straight. Caused headaches, emotional episodes, and eye strain. I found some threads on reddit that made me realize it was literally anxiety, and my symptoms got better pretty quickly when I realized it was quite literally in my head lol
Last night I stressed over a pimple above my chest, and while I'm super stressed and feeling physical muscle tension around my shoulder and chest, I know it's like 90% in my head because I literally felt fine before I started freaking out. Still scheduling an OBGYN, but it sucks having to wait lol

Its because stress causes the torso to tighten. Chest breathing is why it feels wierd and is a forn of hyperventilation. Focus on belly breathing. Deep breaths should rise the stomach, not the chest. This helped alot. Also heating pads across the abdomen to relax the muscles help alot too. A heating pad was my best friend for a few months when it got so bad i couldnt control my breathing. As soon as i stopped focusing on belly breathing, i would go right back into the hyperventalation breathing. So the heating pad helped more for the extreme anxiety.

So i had a peice of paper from 8 months ago and it says I'm 160 but currently i weigh 130 which is a 30 pound loss and this has been stressing me out I feel thinner and you just don't lose weight like that. Anyways found out the correct information which is i lost less than 10 pounds not the crazy 30. Anyways it felt good going in with confidence i felt relaxed and came out feeling better. Hi,
2 year ago i was laying sick with streptococcs all relaxed having a nice time. I saw a horror movie and suddently my heart pounded out some times- i got scared-told my mom-she told me to relax-so i did. Next day i experienced it again and began to hyperventilate. I litterally thought i was dying. Like it was crazy. Like in a movie. I got carried to the hospital and got checked. Nothing wrong. So I got home again, scared and confused with pounding heart. I didnt get any help, so the next months I was like in a "psychoses" scared to die ALL the time. Anxiety attacks, pounding heart all the time, all kinds of the worst psysichal symptoms. It was a hell. Had to be with my mom all the time. Waking up screaming. Laying listening if my heart stops. Waking up not feelings my "brain". I was crazy. Like I cant believe how i came out of it. You should see me, like really. I met my fear everyday, tried to get back to normal. I had build me up the best I could, coming on the right path, and then CORONA. Omg. Being home all the time. Time to think. Time to get crazy. Not having friends before corona. Living like an old lady. It became a bit worse. So in the summer who was, in 2020- I got a permament sight symptom, which I still have; Sensitive for outdoor light, and the outdoor light and colour are more sharp and bright. Like, if I cant see the real world, what am i going to do here then?! On this world. If I cant see the beautiful nature outside. Im so depressed. If it wasnt for the sight, i would be fine. Like really. What should i do?

I have been suffering really badly for almost 3 months with physical symptoms. I have chest and back pain, should and arm pain and tingling sensation on chest back and arms, because of these symptoms (and checking them constantly on Google) I keep telling myself that I am going to have a heart attack. It's a cycle I can't seem to stop because I have severe anxiety which causes these symptoms, but then the symptoms I have cause panic attacks and constant fear that I am dying so then I am in an even worse state. I can't stop feeling/focusing on my heart beat to make sure It isn't racing or too slow. I have been the the doctors 4 times now and each time I have been told it is anxiety, I had a full blood test which came back normal and I am only 18 so I am still young. My mum had spoken on the phone to many doctors who also said it is anxiety and that reassurance from others that I am not dying is the first step but it still hasn't helped me. Any advice at all would be great as to the first steps of dealing with it as because of coronavirus I cannot be referred by my doctor to the anxiety clinic at my hospital. Thank you

@@sasha-sv2xv it is really hard, I am still dealing with this everyday since posting this comment over 2 months ago, however I no longer suffer constantly from my back and and neck pain or chest pain, it just comes on very suddenly a couple times a day when anxious or around loud atmospheres or people arguing etc... So I've kind of realised a bit more that maybe it is down to my anxiety, of course I still get pains that make me stop whatever I'm doing and cause me to panic and think I am dying, but going somewhere quiet or putting headphones in has really seemed to help me a little. But I am now afraid of going outside for some reason which causes a lot of other issues for me, ive definitely got a long way to go but I will get better eventually an so will you, try different things to help calm yourself when overthinking or when you are anxious and you will soon find something that works best. I really hope you start to feel better soon!! People who don't suffer from anxiety really have no Idea how hard it is or how many ways it affects everyone ❤️

What I seem to regularly experience is bad muscle tension, especially in the place my health anxiety is hyperfocusing on. I am currently working on going to my OBGYN just to be safe, but the wait is also so tense.
I can tell that 85% of my symptoms are psychosomatic, because I don't feel any physical distress _until_ I start stressing out. My muscles tense, and so they feel wrong when I feel them or selfcheck things. My very first anxiety attack was a few weeks ago, where my jaw was simply a bit sore from recovering from a sinus infection, but I managed to work myself into a numb and tense face all along my left side. The moment I learned these were symptoms of an attack they immediately started got better. I have been frequently bouncing back into "but what if" mode and it's driving me crazy lol

It's been an intense few months plus some relationship anxiety but Wednesday was great. Chilled with my gf then in the night couldn't get to sleep. I was tossing and turning then became aware of the crawling, burning tingling feeling in my legs but also just moving around my body. Felt like I couldn't lie still. It was really unpleasant and had a shit nights sleep. Hoped it would be gone by morning but still there. Also like a numb feeling in my fingers and sharp twinges around my body. Yesterday evening my body was aching all over but fortunately it didn't affect my sleep and today feel quite a bit better. I was Lucky yesterday as I had an appointment with my CBT therapist who knows me really well and he reassured me. Thing is, I had this stuff plus chronic fatigue for 2 and a half years a while back and I was terrified it was going to come back. What's you story mate ?

I was walking along the sidewalk on Sunday, and had a sudden brain zap that caused me to stagger of course a bit. Was thinking somebody might notice and think I'm just a drunken old man. This has happened before several times over the last few months. Normally, I don't have balance issues, but occasionally I'll start to sway off track when I'm walking. More embarrassing than anything. Anyway, I hope you will reach out and get help if you're feeling so desperate. I've been there. Called Suicide Prevention a few times; finally had myself admitted to a psych ward where I finally got to talk to a psychiatrist. The most helpful thing from him was the reminder that anxiety won't kill me. Wasn't until I found Shaan on CZcams a few months later that I actually felt I had a workable strategy for dealing with this. Talking to a therapist and to psychiatrists and taking medication is of very limited help. (Although it can also be life-saving when feeling desperate.) It's all about facing our fears. Easier said than done, of course. But, hopefully you can see this as a challenge that you can overcome and be the better for it. That may sound very new-age or whatever, but it's a thought that has gotten me through some very rough moments. I wish you the best.

I've been to Dr and we can't figure out cause of my dizziness. My anxiety is now flared just by you saying I need ti get things ruled out. Scares me to death to go down the road of more scans and doctors. I'm crippled wirh fear.

Most dizziness is caused by either inner ear issues, allergies, or anxiety. It's annoying but usually not anything more than that.

@Janine Butcher it feels like if a headband or something is compressing your head all day long, like I said it's ok to be afraid when it happens just change how you react to it. Accept that's its a part of life and over time you'll feel it less and less

Hey Buddy. Thanks for your videos once again. However, I have a very crucial question to which many people might relate. Please help us out.
I have accepted each and every symptom of anxiety like palpatation, heavy eyes, sometimes nausea, heavy back muscles , dizziness etc.. but what I am not able to accept is why does the dizziness happen all of a sudden after a brisk walk or yoga or a workout? That makes me feel that it has to do certainly with some heart or brain problem and not anxiety. I mean this happens quite often even when all other symptoms of anxiety have gone but this one thing of dizziness after a brisk walk or workout is making me go crazy. Please help us underatanding what is it actually.
Many thanks to you in advance.

This is my guess, you subconsciously/consciously remember about the symptoms and still haven't beaten it. The reason why it might not be happening while your working out is that your mind is temporarily focused on that task and once your finished your brain remembers again. Maybe, not sure, I'm still trying to overcome this as the symptoms are just so frustrating to get on with life.

I myself have found this to constantly happen right after a work out as well. I even went as far as to think I had low blood sugar, which I actually had many of the symptoms of a person with low blood sugar, I will be going to the doctor soon to rule this out I hope I don't have anything like that. I have always been an athletic, strong, skinny dude with great endurance.. I hope you feel better, I'm in a vicious cycle right now and I feel the quality of my life going down fast, I skipped my last 3 workout sessions just because of the fear of something seriously being wrong with me... I have mental fog, sweaty palms, I'm dizzy, I'm cranky at times, it's so annoying. I hope you feel better anyways. definitely go see a doctor or just show up to the e.r have them rule anything major out, they usually can tell by just taking samples your blood...stay blessed and healthy!!

I have a mixture of real physical symptoms that are exacerbated by anxiety. And the pain causes anxiety which causes more pain which causes more anxiety.
Doctors and physical therapists dismissed it for years. Now I have both.
    I have Ehlers Danlos syndrome.

@Stephen Jones I hope that you can get the help you need. The statistics on internet trolls are concerning. You need to ask yourself what is missing in your life that compels you to be a troll.
What is motivating you? Narcissism? Schadenfreude?
If you seek therapy now, you might be able to improve your life.

    • @RaquelSantos-hj1mq
      @RaquelSantos-hj1mq Před rokem +1

@Stephen Jones PS: Ehlers Danlos syndrome is genetic and there is a definitive diagnosis. My injuries are observable others at this point. I have to go to Physical therapy for the rest of my life. After I reached a certain age, it was more than just muscle tightness and and tendonitus, bursitis, etc. It's a connective tissue defect.
My pain was always observable to others because of the mechanical dysfunctional and soft tissue. Physical therapists are limited by insurance in how many visits and what part of the body they can work on, so they assured me that I would keep getting better if I kept doing the stuff and discharged me. They always observed the dysfunctional. They were just overconfident that it would get better.
As I got older, I had more and more soft tissue injuries from doing normal activities. That's when I was diagnosed with EDS. Anxiety doesn't cause hypermobility. 😂 It definitely makes the pain worse if I'm in flare up though!
I'm actually much better now that I have proper physical therapy and learned how to move correctly. I just really have to stay on top of it.
Please educate yourself and quit trolling. If you can't stop the impulse to be an internet troll, please seek the proper psychological help.

For the group that doesn't believe their doctor and thinks they missed something... Have your doctor do an ANA12 test. I was told for 2 years it was all anxiety, and I was in the camp that didn't believe my doctor because the symptoms were so real. Turns out I had a couple of autoimmune diseases causing my anxiety.
