Ducati Hypermotard 950: (Raw Sound) Laguna Seca 7/8/24 by Volant Vivere

Here’s my best lap of Laguna Seca without traffic or commentary. I was working the Volant Vivere track day and blessed with some seat time! Pretty happy with my consistency and confidence. Wanted to record a hot lap for notes and review. I’ll go through the lap turn-by-turn in a future review video.
Not the fastest of pace as I was control riding for Volant Vivere but I was very happy with my consistency. Can’t control ride if you’ve sent your bike into the kitty litter! I was very obviously braking early and trying to keep my corner speed low. Something I will be working on when I’m not responsible for other riders and track duties.
This was my first time using a track-oriented tire. I’ve always done my track days on Pirelli Diablo Rosso or Diablo Rosso Corsa, but this time I got to roll on the Pirelli Supercorsas and the difference was immediately evident. I had immense corner grip and feel. The bike was completely within my control. You can see on T2 I got a little loose on the front and shook my head a little, this was the front tire telling me that I was doing something it didn’t like. I was able to understand the feedback from my tires and adjust my riding accordingly. Absolutely a game changer!

Looking good dude. Turn 2 is probably the hardest corner to dial in on the whole track with the double apex. You’re flowing really well on that bike too! 🙌
