Laguna Seca on R1 with Keanu Reeves, Wyatt on CBR 600 vs Berto

- Riding Laguna during an event thrown by Arch Motorcycle Company, owned by Keanu Reeves and Gard Hollinger- both great guys. We pass Keanu riding his vintage Norton on the second lap, going up the hill by the sound booth- all trying not to blow sound. I'm getting some coaching from Wyatt Farris, and Berto joins the fray and we start having some fun. They are both much faster than I am but I tried to keep up. Dec. 12th, and the temp is about 55F so was pretty cold and my visor was fogged pretty bad for the last 5 laps or so- I used my 400cc more power to pass Wyatt up the hill and then hit the pits- was tired and could barely see. Good times! It was an open trackday- hence the huge delta of closing speeds/skills.

Definitely helpful when an instructors brake lights are visible. IMO more trackday companies should allow this.

Are you using a GoPro? All of my Laguna footage has so much wind noise. I'm wondering if keeping the camera behind the windscreen is the secret to your clear audio, or you use some kind of set up? Thanks.
yeah- I'm using the little model- session, i think they call it. Its mounted on top of my triple clamp, right behind the screen.
Typically using the solid backing instead of the one with two holes helps keep the noise down. I swapped to the solid back after testing my GoPro on the highway and it was really quiet even up around 170.

Sorry to say but i find iT quit slow !?...Why is hè shortshifting from 2nd to 5th?
Laguna has a really restrictive sound limit so if I don't short shift to stay low in the revs I'll exceed the sound limit- and that puts an end you the day.
The_Grime I thought there had to be a reason. Since your riding everywhere else was smooth and predictable, it seemed odd that every lap you were short shifting.

#GT2 This track, Seattle Short, & Tahiti Road, my faves...Gosh do I miss that game. Had 99% done. Could not figure out that last 1% accept that it was getting gold in all of the licensing... If someone had big enough balls, you could actually go straight through & jump the cork screw... It is totally scientifically plausibly possible, but would involve perfect speed, turning, & of course timing.... Bike Sounds Awesome... Not to beefy, but not like a rice burner either... ❤️🏍❤️
