Steven remains the most terrifying part of this series by a wide margin.
it’s true!
“I’m perfect ☺️”
This was awesome!! Thank you guys for making my night !!
I've really enjoyed watching Steven's slow descent into madness over the last 2 years. Excellent entertainment, Watcher!

There’s three very different camp counselor energies going on right now:
Ryan: lowkey bro who freely swears in front of the kids and spews random anecdotes (largely) unprompted
Shane: the friendly veteran counselor who leads the kids on hikes and whom every girl has a crush on
Steven: college kid barely holding this summer job and his composure together
So accurate
exactly this
I think I was all three of these at different points of time as a counselor…though honestly most of us had steven energy underlying everything the entire summer lol
Which of the three are more likely to be a killer, monster, first to die, be the 'final girl', get killed for alcohol, get killed for drugs or get killed for sex?

Very spot on
Ryan is a veteran counselor so he's buddy-buddy with the camp director and he gets away with it
He looks like Paul Rudd in Hot Wet American Summer 😂

Steven muddling a lime while staring directly into the camera and screaming at the top of his lungs is...just the energy all of us have after the last two years, I think.

When Steven started counting as he poured, I was a proud bartender. And then he went back on his BS and I returned to the state of a tired father, chain-smoking at a T-ball game who doesn't have any expectations for his son.

He went off the deep end a bit
pls don't use psychopath like that it's ableist towards pw aspd 👎 /gen
@@lemonadebi are you serious? That's why they're called anti-social personality disorders. There may be functioning members of society with aspd but the core characteristics remain, like lack of empathy. And "psychopats" have a severe case of aspd (since it is on a spectrum). And most of them are not good people. They aren't even the highly intelligent evil masterminds portrayed on TV. Ableist against psychopats. I've heard it all.
@@CrisSelene empathy doesn't matter. you can be a good person without affective empathy. you don't have to feel what other people are feeling to be a good person. compassion is what matters, which you clearly don't have.
Ableism is discrimination and social prejudice against people with disabilities. ASPD is a debilitating mental disorder. you're still using psychopath as an insult, and holding negative opinions towards pwASPD as a whole based on only their disorder, how is that not ableism?
also important to mention that ASPD, like most personality disorders, is likely caused by childhood trauma, abuse and/or neglect, if its relevant to you
i'd recommend doing research on personality disorders from medical sources but be sure to critically think about what they're saying because they also unfortunately tend to hold prejudice against pw certain disorders (due to stigma which also results in medical professionals denying them help to manage their symptoms) and also actual people w aspd who are in recovery! :-)

i'm pretty sure the new season next week will be in ryan's parents backyard, this was just a one off special episode so they shot it in their office. i agree with the other part, though i miss the earlier seasons when it was like "steven genuinely does not know how to bartend" and now it's just weird bits like the screaming :/ i also wish ricky was Not coming back for the new season, he seems like a nice dude but it was so much better with just the three of them

"they don't just... bury children in a specific spot!" ancient romans would like a word with you
There are literally thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of marked and unmarked child graveyards across the Americas due to "Indian" Boarding Schools. The unmarked ones are most often mass graves because it was more important to "civilize" and "beat the Indian out" rather than actually take care of these children, who were forcibly taken away from their families and cultures, in any meaningful way.
native boarding schools want a word as well
The large local cemetery near me would also like a word...

Shane is so right about midwesterners going outside in a storm. We go outside when the tornado sirens go off
It's so incredibly funny to me that the (1) season of the series with a theme that accurately fits the expression 'campfire stories' is hosted inside and in front of a fake fire 😂
Shane is the camp counselor who helps you when you’re having a panic attack about not wanting to do an activity. Ryan is the counselor who winks and turns his back when you’re up to some shit you shouldn’t be up to. Steven is a camper 😂
Wedding gowns get REAL heavy when completely saturated in water, and moving around in the ocean can't be easy with all that fabric.
Women falling into bodies of water and drowning because their clothes got too heavy, was not an uncommon way to die a long time ago.
I'm thinking a woman who walks to the beach and into the ocean wearing her wedding dress is drowning intentionally. but they didn't want to say suicide
Accidental drowning is unfortunately very common, now and back then
As a Midwesterner (Michigan), can verify-we love going outside in the rain. We also love standing on our lawns during a tornado warning to watch for the tornado.
So true. lol
I live in England so we don’t get weather or bugs or any scary shit really but the image of someone stood on their lawn, hands on their hips like a dad, just waiting for the murder wind is so metal to me
I've never heard a tornado called murder wind but i love it
Steven laughing and screaming without breaking character really shows that that came somewhere deep from within him that needed to be released
It was actually fairly common to drown in the same way described at 19:00 clothes back then were made of fibers that hold water way more than clothes do now and they generally wore more layers back then. Falling into a body of water (especially if it was a cold, bc that can send your body into shock and make it much harder to climb out) and trying to pull yourself out when your clothes are saturated with water and heavy af is not an easy task. People often drowned accidentally while collecting water, defecating in a river, casually strolling around and falling in, etc… so the way that woman supposedly died makes sense to me
Yeah, lots of people used wool clothing. Especially dresses. Only underclothes were made from linen which repels moisture but only on the level of sweat.
I remember seeing stuff like this in Killers of the Tudor Home and the Victorian episode of The Time Crashers. With the wool clothes I suppose it shouldn’t be a surprise, but it’s still sad to see that so many people drowned
In my country, kids still need to swim and do certain assignments in the water while clothed to get their second swimming diploma (first one is just basic swimming skills, second one is more elaborate and difficult stuff, but still basic enough for regular swimming, and then anything beyond that is about special skills, like rescue swimming etc). It's still a good thing to learn, because, especially as a kid, you're not really prepared for the extra weight of water soaked clothes and it can really endanger you.
that’s all nice and dandy… but why would anyone go on a walk or a swim in their wedding gown the night before the wedding???
Hidden Killers is where I saw this too, ha! Poor Susannah in that freezing water.
Steven Lim being Level 1000 of Chaotic Energy is ✨I M M A C U L A T E✨

They share one braincell.
Man! I wish I would have caught this theme’s submission time. The only “ghost story” I have is specifically a summer camp one. I guess I can just share it here if anyone care’s to read it. (Also, if anyone sees this and wants to share their own, go ahead!)
This story came from a past boyfriend of one of my childhood friends that I always thought was pretty darn surreal.
It’s been awhile since I was told this story, but I’ll do my best to remember what I can. Just to give a name for the boyfriend, we’ll call him Jack. Here it goes -
Jack was a boy scout back when we were in high school. One summer, his troop went to a boy scout camp (I can’t remember the specific name anymore, but it’s somewhere in a mountainous forest area of California). Jack’s troop visited along with a bunch of other troops at the same time, so sometimes it could be difficult to keep track of or get to know everyone and their troops. At night, it was pretty dark up in the forested mountains, as you could imagine, and it was recommended that you didn’t go wondering around at night.
One of the final nights they were staying at the camp, Jack woke up needing to go to the bathroom. So he left his tent cabin, flashlight in hand, and headed to the restroom building. On his way back to his tent cabin, his flashlight caught sight of a boy standing in the distance, his back to Jack. The boy looked to be fully dressed in scout uniform, slowly looking back and forth, seeming lost.. Jack called out to him, “hello?” The boy turned to Jack, his skin looking pale and cold.
“Hey, what’s your name and troop number?” Jack then told the boy his own name and troop number. They boy responded and told him in kind (another detail I can no longer remember).
Jack was a bit confused. The boy’s troop number and name were unfamiliar. The boy certainly didn’t _look_ familiar either, but as it was stated before, there were plenty of people and troops staying at the camp that were hard to keep track of.
Jack and the boy talked for a little while. When they decided to part ways, they exchanged “nice to meet you” and shook hands. Jack was shocked at how icy cold the boy’s hand was, but refrained from reacting. They said their good nights and Jack went the rest of the way back to his tent cabin.
The next day, Jack asked around about the boy’s troop number and name, feeling like something was off about the encounter. No one knew what or who Jack was asking about, only making him more confused.
On the last day Jack and his troop were staying at the camp, when they were in the main building, he decided to browse a wall of pictures in the entry room. The photos were of past troops that had visited the camp. Each were labeled with their respective troop number and the names of those in the photo. It was then that Jack saw the boy in one of the photographs, with the correct troop number and name the boy had given him. The photograph was dated from the 1930s (I can’t remember the year/decade exactly anymore, it may have been later. But it was definitely a good few decades ago from when this happened). Jack pointed out the picture to his friends and exclaimed that was the boy he’d met. They were baffled, to say the least. Jack’s friends said he must be mistaken, or that maybe the boy had been messing around.
Later, Jack was able to find out the boy in the photo had reportedly gone missing at that camp around the year the photo was dated. And that the boy was never found, presumed dead.
There you go. That’s the story. Writing all this out, it ended up being longer than I originally thought. But if anyone made it this far, I hope you found it interesting!
I personally refuse to belief in ghosts, and neither were my childhood friend and their past bf particularly believing types (well, the bf may have been a ghost believing convert after this encounter), but this nonetheless was always a wild story to us.
Ah the classic ghost story, you meet then thinking theyre alive and well only to find out (by picture no less!) That theyve been dead for 50 years. Its a cliche but its a good one and honeslty? If ghosts are real, that little boys ghost hanging around makes a lot of sense. Shame they never found him.
omg that's so sad about the little boy :((
@@stephw3460 Yeah, sadly there are quite a few cases of people going missing in the California mountains never to be found :( As someone who grew up with a camping/hiking family and as a Girl Scout, outdoors safety and sticking together couldn’t seem to be stressed enough because of cases like that.

There actually are things such as children's graveyards. We have those where I live. It's usually a small, fenced-of section of a 'normal' graveyard where all the little 'star children' (as they are called over here) were laid to rest.
The graves are often decorated with little toys, lots of candles, colourful blankets, flowers, children's books and other trinkets. They're honestly really beautiful and I love the attention and care that people put into keeping those graves well taken care of.

Shane’s “it puts the lotion in the basket” was so accurate wtf
Its hard to tell if Ryan and Shane are slowly driving Steven to insanity, or if Too Many Spirits is just revealing Steven's inner demon
No way. Very similar things happened when my family stayed in the Venetian in Las Vegas as well! We had the toilets flushing in the middle of the night, the automatic curtains opening when no one was near the switch, and an ironing boarding falling by itself inside a closed closet. It was the strangest experience and I'm shocked someone else experienced the same thing. Maybe the Venetian hotel should be investigated by the ghoul boys?
Couldn’t click fast enough! My fave series on the channel (following PH of course) Lim going off the rails per usual lmao
I could click faster
Same
I just realized that after watching these guys for years that Shane occasionally gives me Jimmy Stewart energy & now I can’t unsee it. 😅
Lol same here! I love it
There are actually such things as child graveyards. Me and my family used to frequent the Horseheaven Hills Cemetary (otherwise known as The Baby Graves) since it was a really great spot to go star-gazing. It's pretty much in the middle of nowhere and some people say you can hear babies crying at night (but in my opinion, it was probably people who had never heard coyotes before.)
i wrote this comment dead fucking tired and forgot to say why. a bunch of kids/babies died of plague or something during one of the winters and it was mostly kids they buried in the graves since none of the adults died. thus, baby graves
so great to see you guys out in the real outdoors by a real fire!!
@@osakarose5612 yep! that was the point of the joke they were making
Shane- you think her dress got so wet she drowned?
Yes, yes it could have. Have you not seen the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie when Elizabeth falls in the water. Jack has to practically undress her to bring her up above water because of how heavy the fabric is
Correct! Also how Ophelia in Hamlet dies. Water makes fabric heavier (ever done laundry, Shane?) and would pull the victim under the water.
As a professional lifeguard, I have to say - your clothes WILL drag you down and drown you, particularly your shoes should you fall in deep water. So, yeah first thing to do if you fall in the water is remove your clothes.
Okay but she wasn't IN the water, she was just walking on the beach. You can't drown just from wet clothes, you'd have to fall in the damn lake.
As an indigenous person, whenever skin-walkers are mentioned in anything I always feel so uneasy because of all the stories I’ve heard from my dad and my family members about them and their encounters on the reservation. Skin walkers are very real and they come from a source of very dark magic in from a part of indigenous culture. It’s so feared I was always told never to talk or even think about skin-walkers because of the magical connection. My dad and great grandma always told me what these people had to do to become skin-walkers was so dehumanizing that they weren’t even human anymore. Side bar. I remember watching an episode of Navajo cops where they’re hunting down a skin walker and you can see it’s glowing yellow eyes from inside a cave it’s hiding in. It goes in as a man and comes out as an animal. It’s so fascinating to me because of the indigenous connection to my culture but it’s also so feared among my tribe.
When you have proof of one, please post it. Otherwise nobody's inclined to believe they're real.
Thank you for sharing a bit of your culture. "They" have always been interesting to me. Most of their story's are terrifying. We live in the woods and my son always says "Mom there are SW out there. I'm not going out at night." 💀💀💀🐾🐾🐾
@@justdrop Why are you watching videos about the supernatural?
@@a.Stitch-in-Time I'm watching an entertainment channel where one of the people is a realist.
@@justdrop So just racist then? Would you tell a person of Chinese decent that believes dragons are real that their beliefs are not real?
I'm glad Steven added the little ghostie to the glass, I was wondering what made it a Boojito as opposed to a regular Mojito... aside from the amount of rum he put in it lol
