The song is autobiographical, it recounts the days following her father's death, the journalists digging into her family's life and the people she didn't even know who were suddenly in her house, hugging her mother and touching her as if they knew her . And she talks about the anger and pain at the sudden farewell of her father, which however she has learned to accept and forgive. When her father died she and her family found themselves surrounded by journalists, curious strangers and relatives and “friends” who appeared from who knows where in search of who knows what (like vampires), for this reason they moved to northern Italy and Angelina, who was traumatized by her father's death, missed a year of school.

I mean, it's incredible. She's incredible. I'm Italian, I understand perfectly the lyrics, but I 100% ensure you that the first time I listened to this song I reacted exactly like you. And this is a lyrics-centric song, as she's singing about the funeral of her father when she was 13yo and how she felt about that. But her way to translate emotions into music is so universal she arrives to literally everyone. Not sure the world is ready for Angelina.
