You need to see and react to "La Rondine" by Angelina Mango during cover's night in Sanremo. "La Rondine" is a song from her father. Very emotional moment.
Unfortunately it is now impossible to find the original performance of La Rondine on CZcams, RAI reduced the performance to one minute due to copyright and even on the RAIPLAY platform it is now impossible to find... And it is a shame because that performance is was extraordinary and will go down in the history of the festival of Sanremo, it had never happened that an entire nation cried while listening to a song.

@@scully8950 It can be found on RaiPlay, just search for "Sanremo" and then the quarta serata, but there too as well as on YT they have reduced the performance to one minute (but on the other hand they do 30 seconds of advertising at the beginning and at the end), the only is looking for reactions on YT where you can totally hear it.
(However on RaiPlay by searching for "La rondine" and then selecting the video of "Bellamà" you can hear the whole thing, even if they speak)

"La Noia" is a state of boredom and depression that makes an artist falls into their fears and insecurities. Angelina sings about her difficult years and her sufferings, and she thanks them because they made her stronger.
This info makes this amazing performance even cooler. It was definitely one of my favourite ones and made me want to dance!
@@zagorskaewelina yep, it also has a mix of southern Italian and latino music genres, which gives it a lot of rithm. The music itself is based on cumbia ("è la cumbia della noia", it's the cumbia of boredom), which is a southern American dance
"La noia" in this context I think means more ennui, something in between boredom and depression. Not just straight up boredom but something a little more... existential, let's say! For such a young lady (22), Angelina seems so grounded and wise beyond her years!

Italian singer and voice teacher here. You are absolutely correct about how the way we pronounce vowels influences the way we sing, as we almost always naturally go for a brighter and more "open" tone. Our music culture has led us to prefer M1 over M2 because we generally want our voices to sound strong, powerful and (no surprise) a bit dramatic throughout the whole vocal range. Unfortunately, this also means that it's quite difficult for people who start singing to understand the concept of mixed voice. Which is incredibly helpful and effective if you want to sing high pitches in a safe way, with a consistent tone and without sounding "strangled." And yes, we also have to work hard on tongue position because it tends to create some excessive tension. 🎶🎤

don't know if you know much about this but is it the same for Turkish? cause the vowels she had mentioned are also used in Turkish, plus the ı, ö, ü so i want to know more about it and if we also have the mixed vocal!
@bdboui Unfortunately I don't know much about the Turkish language. However, it's important to understand that "mixed voice" is a way to describe a specific approach to singing, where the singer wisely mixes elements from different singing techniques in order to achieve a consistent and solid tone that still sounds smooth and effortless, especially in middle / high pitches. It can be achieved no matter the language you sing in. It's about tone and vocal sound quality. I hope this helps 😉

Her father had a very distinctive and special voice. Angelina has an equally distinctive style which, while it is nothing like that of her father, is completely unique. She has a unique style and very strong stage presence.

This is my personal favorite this year! A small note: This performance is from Sanremo (Eurovision was originally inspired by it) and there, artists usually perform on their own with an orchestra, so this is not the final performance we'll see at Eurovision in May, it'll probably be much grander, hopefully you'll get to react to those as well! 😁 I think you'll enjoy Switzerland, Belgium and France (amazing vocals). Well she's 23 and very talented. She's from Basilicata (Region between Tyrrhenian and ionian seas) and she's bringing that spicy southern Italy vibe in the contest. The sound base is cheerful and catchy, based on Colombian cumbia, but the lyrics are definitely not shallow or flippant, on the contrary.
Pain and suffering dance together with pleasure and joy, but it is not a heavy burden to bear. As Angelina seems to want to tell us, it is the emptiness of boredom that weighs down, while the richness of life lightens
