I just realized that Black Widow Claire Voyant is a great option for Thing. Her bleeds reduce his rock stacks, Thing’s immunity to bleed grants her power, and she has a Buff Immunity debuff on her SP2, preventing that Unstoppable from ever triggering.
Everything you’ve said is correct, but I still wouldn’t use her simply because her damage is dreadful. You would need to be in bleed mode to control the stacks which means no sp2 burst damage (though some healing), and if you go for a 20 charge sp3, you will just trigger protection…

When thing first came out I had crossbones and blade without them he would have been a huge pain in the ass.😮

Well, you can technically beat Thing with any champion, but make sure that the rock stacks aren't too high

I beleive I do mention it, but the best option is to use DOT rather than lots of direct damage and ability accuracy reduction
does his immunities apply to CGR??

The defenders cycle. Happened with IMIW, happened with Korg etc
Well sone people are still struggling as hell against IMIW and Korgy. But no one is scared of Thing anymore. Theres a technique plus theres like 100 counters to his unstoppable.
Hit monkey, Nick furry, ultron is good for thing.
I have seen HM used a lot in Battlegrounds
Get him to 15 stacks and make him use special. Repeat. This could be cut to 5 seconds.
