Here is my detailed guide on how to beat Bishop in Marvel Contest of Champions. I will be going over the main problems, best champions and top strategies for making sure you win.

I may be late to the party but as on date the best counter IMO is Wiccan.. u just need to place one incinerate and one stagger.. He ends up killing himself 😂😂😂

I typically use Red Hulk for him since the incinerates benefit you.

Iron man reworked is a bishop killer. He is my go to for a bishop fight. :]
He is certainly a good option. I would still say that Idoom is better but reworked Iron Man is still excellent

Use a mystic
Interesting; I like it. Normally I just use goggle god; Diablo heals from incinerates and specials. Healing 94,000 in one hit is fun.
Poison reduced regen, nullify gets you a special loop if you hold the sp1 until he holds block. Diablo is basically the champ who shouldn’t work but does. He deals energy damage which shouldn’t work, but everything else makes him a counter against him.
Prowler a good counter for him?
Great video. Would nimrod work against him? I'm hoping to see a video against kingpin next.
I tend to avoid him. Yes Nimrod can remove the prowess but he replaces them with shocks so you will take damage as bishop removes them

Thank you! Was wondering why NimGod was failing me, and it's the energy damage. So it's Quake or Ghost for me now 🤷🏻
@@asl8r Ghost is so busted with the furies. That would have been a 70k sp2 from the 4* in the video. 6* R3 could probs be over 200k

Steer clear of that choice.

You forgot War Machine. He’s tech, can remove prowess with Sp1, has high energy resistance with fortify prefight, suppression to help reduce power rate, and so on
You certainly aren’t wrong and in a pinch he could work. Just be careful of his sp1 :)

Also,
Mordo: Can block Bishop’s unblockable specials, and if duped, he has very high energy resistance
Stark Spidey: Tech, deals mostly physical damage, and can evade the SP1 using the AI. Note, the sp2 inflicts shock
Spidergwen: She has a 550% chance to evade unblockable specials
Miles Morales: He can automatically miss unblockable attacks
Silver Surfer: Can heavy phase specials and takes 100% less damage from incinerate, which means he can regen from willpower
Falcon: Shuts down prowess with lock on
Tigra: Same with Surfer, except she is not incinerate immune
Punisher 2099: Tech, physical, power control
Magik: Power control
Kushala: Incinerate immune and blocks unblockable with ease
Is Civil Warrior a good option? Other than him not having incinerate immunity.
He doesn’t really fulfil any of requirements of a bishop counter. If you can reliably push bishop to a sp2 and dex it, the he can work, but the same can be said about by champion. I wouldn’t recommend him here.
@@mcocencyclopedia Didn't he fulfill the 1st two criteria? His hits are physical and gives Bishop no prowess. Also CW's SP2 can power burn two bars of power. For Bishop's SP1, just stay away from him till the expiry of his steady release to avoid the incineration. Would that work? Sorry to keep bugging you on CW but I just pulled a 6* version recently and planning to use him in AQ (and fully utilize him if possible) because of his delicious SP2 and his armor up stacks (which can also turn into fury stacks). Thinking should I rank him up further (he's currently R2) and awaken him as I do have a 6* tech class awakening gem.
@@NeverLetMeGo777 Civil Warrior can work for this fight, but you will have to be very careful. He does have physical basic attacks but his sp1 is energy and his sp2 is physical then x2 energy. You can make him work, but he isn't really a very good champion. There are much better 6*s so I would work towards getting more of them. Do not use your tech AG on him. You will almost certainly come to regtret that. Build out your roster and don't forget that 5*s are still decent for a long time. Don't forget about them

Whats a good cosmic or science for variant bishop
Surfer, CGR and Void are probably your best options. They are incinerate immune, but can't deal with the unblockable and prowess. No really options for those
I couldve done it with quake but i think what in act 7 and 8 it would take ages with quake and yes evade parry is faster than evade dax so ita gaint pain in the ass now after watching this video i realize quake is only ans now 😢😢😢 lets see how ghost dose also ig anyone wanna preactice against bisho is first champ on path in act 6.1.4 i think crossbones boss
how about apoc?
Apoc can go incinerate immune, but you will have to take some damage first, but the main issue is that you can't use his heavy to refresh your debuffs. That would bleed Bishop and as explained in the video, that is a bad idea. Also no way to deal with the prowess. 4/10

@@morag2378 Spot probably as he is a nightmare. Scorpion probably not for a while. Any evade counter can work or just hit him enough to stop the evade charge
