Een heel mooi concert, schitterrend! En dan in te denken: eens al de bazuinen klinken is het allemaal nog zo veel mooier, dan is het perefect - want Hij heeft het volbracht! Maar wij wachten geduldig! Ja, amen, Ja op Golgotha!
GERT, dit was het mooiste concert ooit
I’ve been following Gert since he was 14, and I have to say this is one of his finest concerts. Apart from technical skill, it highlights the key requirement for a successful touring virtuoso organist - variety. There are many other very fine organists, but they tend to specialise, as for example resident liturgical organists. A wide repertoire is essential, and not all organists have it, or desire it. Rock on Gert.
Exactly my thoughts, William. And Gert's variety is real music and not crap!
i bet if he started doing Audiomachine and Hans ZImmer Covers he would get hired by one of them in no time.
Gert and Marjolein, what a blessing this concert was! The variety of selections, the quality of this beautiful instrument and acoustics of the church building, and the emotional feelings that flowed out of you into each piece that you played so beautifully. I love it when you and Marjolein work together to bring us these beautiful concerts. It's almost like a lovely dance, exciting and new every time. The Lord has truly blessed you both with great talent, and you in turn bless us by sharing it with the world. Thanks to everyone who made this concert possible. God bless you all.

I love the music and your wonderful playing, Gert, but the icing on the cake is watching you and Marjolein work together and, oh, those smiles ☺️☺️☺️☺️ I can sometimes see one of your smiles when there's a particular part of the music that touches your soul .... While working on a Rev 19 Bible study in Bloemfontein, South Africa, this magnificent concert nourished my soul and took me into a sphere of pure beauty and the glorification of God. The youngster in the first row off Gert's left shoulder (wearing a shirt saying "DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY") seemed enthralled the entire concert - perhaps Italy's next great organist?
I also noticed the young man. Enthralled is a good description...for the entire concert! I tried to picture myself sitting there, but I would have to lose guessing about 70 years. You may be right on... a future organist!

Again : 122000 followers that is great indeed, but I just read that only 44 persons are patrons for Gert, family and his Team, that Ladies and Gentlemen is a shame. I Think that most of us are in a financial situation that gives us the possibility to give a minimum of 3 € per month to Gert to listen and watch this fantastic music as a patron in future. So give your heart a push and donate monthly !

I use to play organ in College and would later work for an organ company until they went under. I only do church playing now. Man you take a drink of water after a steller performance and have a ton of energy. I use to have to drink 3 cups of espresso before sitting down to play at that speed! Well done Gert!! You are one of the best organists I have heard.

Mi rincresce non essere stato presente a Lanciano per il concerto. Seguo da molti anni lo sviluppo professionale di Gert e è un vero talento. Solitamente si assistono a tali prodigi solo da ragazzi talentuosi che hanno iniziato molto presto. Nel caso di Gert, suo nonno è stato il suo maestro. A 13 anni ha iniziato con una tecnica evolutiva ed un apprendimento tale da essere sicuramente uno degli organisti più talentuosi al mondo. Averlo ospitato a Lanciano, avrà sicuramente una risonanza musicale nazionale. Bene gli organizzatori che hanno puntato a tale scelta. Buona anche la registrazione... Complimenti.
