  • In this week's tutorial, I show how I edit my photos on the smallest iPad Mini, including how I work with presets, profiles, colours and more, using the Apple Pencil stylus. I show my easy editing tips and ideas, taking raw photographs and turning them into more eye-catching pieces of art.
I also explain why I like editing on the iPad, from the cloud syncing, the local file handling and the speed of the iPad Vs a desktop computer or MacBook.
I'm hoping I've answered many of the questions I got from some of my previous iPad editing tutorials, but if not, please leave your questions below and I will try to answer them.

Learned a lot from this video about using Lightroom, main takeaway is subtlety, yes I’m one of those amateurs that bangs up clarity etc 😢 this video will change my editing in future, thank you so much 👍

This is exactly what k was looking for. I’m having a hard time deciding between the air and mini. One thing I did have an issue with is how do I sync my presets from Lightroom classic on my desktop to the iPad light room I can’t find any videos on that.

I’m using Canon eos R5 with 12.9 M1 iPad Pro for real estate photography. One thing Lightroom mobile doesn’t allow me to do is open as layers in photoshop. That really take a long more time of me especially when I have more than 100+ photos to edit.

What brightness do you set your screen to before editing?

Thank you so much for the time you take to explain so clearly what you are doing. I also find myself using LR over the LR Classic . My question to you is, am I missing where I can find my history of editing and presets used on the LR CC version? Trying to get an answer on this either by googling or dealing directly with Adobe has been fruitless! Thanks for your time!

As you cannot connect and external HD to the IPad, how do you transfer your completed edited photo to your computer? Thanks.

Hey! The pics are all updated to the cloud with edits. Once your computer with LR Classic is online, it’ll download said files to a folder called ”synced files”. From there, it’s fairly easy to move files to local folders in LR. It definitely isn’t a perfect system, but it gets the job done. Or maybe I’ll put it this way; I enjoy working with the ipad so much, that I’ve accepted the hassle.

@@kristoferolson1663sure you can. But you can’t transfer LR edits that route.
