Brilliant! Thanks for doing this video..AND doing it RIGHT. I've watched about 6 other videos before this one where people are hanging the calipers by the brake lines, don't (re)grease the sliding pins, etc. THANK YOU for showing the proper way to do this!
You're welcome!
Engine mounts suck on that year but got to love them. I see people all the time under a car with just the jack, crazy. A joy as always Hector,
Thank You👍
Excellent video my guy. You made it look easy, nothing complex about it!
Appreciate it!
This was a very informative video I appreciate you doing it the way you did
You're so very welcome
Very good instructional video.
Thank You👍🔧
Now that was one Excellent brake job 👏 👏 👏
Thank you. I appreciate it👍🔧
Helped a lot thank you!!
You're welcome!
Tools used is always cool
👍
Thank goodness for people like you Hector! We just did front & back brakes on a Chevy, and the shop wanted to charge them $450 in just labor!
You won't believe how much I charged for this job. You probably would hit me across my head😀.
@@NoneMechanic101 LOLOL, how much did you charge Hector?
@@OnlineAutoRepairVideos For this one was 50.00 dollars
@@NoneMechanic101 That was a little cheap, but not bad at all. We charge $75 so we are very close in our prices.
@@OnlineAutoRepairVideos A lot of people are having a hard time so I do my best to charged a reasonable price.
Great job.
Thank you. I appreciate it🔧
I love Honda's, They are easy cars to work on.
Yes they are easy cars to work on. I love working on them
New sub big sons sent me 😄
Thanks for subbing!
Great video my man I'm trying to do this for the first time one thing I'm wondering is should I bleed my brake lines?
If it was me I would bleed the brake lines.
💪🏾
👍👍
Do you do all of the brakes first before you do the compression or can you do that same process for every one?
I myself do both ways. I do the front brakes and the compressed them. Then I do the rear brakes and then compressed them
Ty And thanks for replying so quickly i'm in the middle of a job right now thank you

Is it okay to push the fluid back up into the master cylinder
When the caliper pistons are pushed in the fluid in the line goes up.
yes will that fluid then hurt the master cylinder?
might be a dumb question but at the end when you say you’re gonna press it to make it feel right are you pressing on the brake pedal inside the car?
and do you do that when you’re down with one side or do you do both sides and then do it? First time doing this later tonight and just wondering
I myself do it when both brake pads are done.
What kind of pads do you recommend? I know ceramic.. but is there a certain brand?
IT is a matter of preference. I myself like Akebono brake pads
Some spring clip things came out when I pulled the old pads out? Wtf are these are they important
Which clips. Can you send me a photo to my e mail. Nonemechanic101@Yahoo.com
@@NoneMechanic101 i found them, they go on the back of the pads, i couldnt see what you were doing on my phone screen and took the whole caliper off instead of in 2 bits
@@pauljosse Did you put them back?
@@NoneMechanic101 yeah figured it out
Calliper went back in kinda tight….bitch of time lining up the bolts on…all went well after
👍
Thanks for the video it really helped me out
@@johnhynesproductionslimite7522 You’re so very welcome 🙏
My slide pins just keep rotating!
@@iamjoehill It may have a nut that you may have to put a open wrench
You can compress the caliper completely with a screwdriver. Just need a large flathead and a little elbow grease. Saves you a step.
Thank you
