dont hate on the 6.5l too much, thats what im stuck with until i can afford a Duramax haha. they actually arent that slow either with a bigger turbo, a tune, and marine injectors

Cosigned. 6.5L's aren't terrible (mine has an intercooler, tune, 4in exhaust, but stock injectors), but gonna go ahead and say 500hp is almost double what a turned up 6.5L TD is happy with. As much as I like my 'turned up' 6.5L, my H1 still has an LBZ Duramax and Allison 6spd that'll meet very soon haha.
All h1 alphas had an lbz. Itâs no where near 1of1. But still cool

No H1's were in combat. That is the HMMWV. H1 is the consumer version with many more creature comforts.

Common mistake is that people think the 6.2/5 was detroit... it wasn't. It was DESIGNED by Detroit, however it was PRODUCED by GM. Which makes it a GM produced / modified engine
The original 3000 or so 6.2L had Detroit Diesels in them. I can show you a pic of my emissions label. Owning the 5th one ever made with original drivetrain, I can vouch for half validation of his statement. After the end of the first contract, they went with the cheapest bidder, and then you would be correct sir.

The H1 one in my opinion is the only and the best hummer ever made. A real mans Hummer. The latter models H2 - H3 they made later on where overpriced cheap crap garbage. This H1 is badass. I love it.

Two points in that statement one itâs a super tight swap and two the body would have to be removed to do any work. You could read it really really slow if itâs hard for you to understand.
