Common Ghana doesn't pose any form of hate. It's how some Nigeria express themselves. The word common is also use to make statement about Nigeria.
Having independent is not the thing because even those that gain independent after Nigeria are more better.
Achievement doesn't come by winning more than Nigeria in face to face match. Nigeria may not have won more but Nigeria have achieved more.
1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, United States. Super eagles were the first in Africa to ever beat Brazil and Argentina.
Nigeria won the most under 17 world cup with 5 cups, Ghana 2, Brazil 3.
In U-20 championship, Nigeria, the flying Eagles 🦅has won Africa U-20 Cup of Nations titles 7 times Championship in the year 1983, 1985, 1987, 1989, 2005, 2011, 2015 and also two-times runners-up of the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
While female football, Nigeria female team has won 11 of 13 finals.

Ghana won the match by goal difference does not need all these irrelevant explanations. Failure is not fatal; any one can fail. But how you get up is what matters. Ghana did not make it in 2018 world cup in Russia and hell does not loose. Why all these ranting and rabble rousing? This year they put 1 and 2 together and get a good result that is what matters. Losing out of World cup roster is not the end of the world.

@Gab you did not say anything about Ghana's U20 achievement compared to Nigeria. In case you don't know, Ghana is also the first African to have won U20 world cup in 2009. So what achievement does Nigeria have over Ghana? Never again refer to Ghana as common. Ghana is your big brother by birth(independence) and not Nigeria. Big brother is to the older and not by size. How did Nigeria give or help Ghana to gain independence, when you (Nigeria) was in slavery for Three more years after Ghana's independence. I laugh. The arrogance and pomposity of the average Nigerian towards Ghana must stop. Otherwise God will continue to favour Ghana above Nigeria. Are you not surprised of the turn of event in this qualification, in the face of seemingly high rated Nigerian team?

Nigeria may have been to more world cup tournaments than Ghana, but Ghana has always had the better of Nigeria when it boils down to competitive football games..I swear, right from the day the draws were announced, I knew that Ghana will advance..Nigeria super eagles always struggle against the black stars of Ghana..How can this man say that Nigeria is the best team when we couldn't score from open play over two legs? Ghana had a better game plan over the two legs and it worked out for them..I am not even feeling bad because I already knew what the outcome was going to be..Super eagle's struggle against black stars in competitive games continues...And some history never really ends..l don't see Nigeria beating Ghana any time soon in competitive football games..Our past best teams couldn't stop black stars and you think that this current generation of players could do that? Look at how Ghana struggled throughout this year's AFCON tournament in Cameroon, but when it comes to playing against Nigerian, Ghana is always out to fight till the end..We have participated in more world tournaments than Ghana, scored more world cup goals in a single world cup tournament than Ghana, but we just can't beat Ghana is competitive football matches..They are always out to prove something against Nigeria/Nigerians...

Kuti first attended attended Abeokuta Grammar School. In 1958, he was sent to London to study medicine but decided to study music instead at the Trinity College of Music, with the trumpet being his preferred instrument.
While there, he formed the band Koola Lobitos and played a fusion of jazz and highlife.
So Mr Oliver, keep quiet with your false information.
Even the so called highlife music was introduced to Ghana by British.
No Ghana coach were in Nigeria to teach anyone how to play.
Before Fela came to Ghana to study, he has music talent and he has study in Nigeria and in Europe and fully adapted to music before coming to Ghana for short course. Long before Fela Kuti came on board, there are Nigeria musicians who're famous before fela. Nigeria present day musicians doesn't get inspiration from Fela.
Afrobeat doesn't originate from Ghana and non of it is about Ghana. Afrobeat is about Africa music, Africa culture and Africa history. Afrobeat is not only to promote Nigeria culture but Afrobeat is there to promote all Africa culture.

This video exemplifies much of what is wrong with Nigeria: an over-inflated and over-hyped view of self which often leads to a pathetic sense of entitlement and fictitious exceptionalism. Its really difficult to address your problems when you think you are exceptional and everybody else is rubbish, when actually, the reverse is the case. Was it not Ghana that helped Nigeria gain its independence in 1960 after Ghana had been the first in sub-saharan Africa to do so in 1957? Who born dog? And when it comes to football, the facts are equally clear that Ghana has achieved more than Nigeria:
    - Ghana has more AFCON titles that Nigeria.
    - Ghana has a much better record of progression than Nigeria at the World Cup having progressed to the quarter finals in 2010. The most Nigeria has managed in all its years is the Round of 16 stage.
    - The highest scoring African in World Cup history is Ghanaian, not Nigerian.
    - Nigeria's biggest loss in any football game in its entire history was to Ghana when the two sides met in 1955. Ghana won 7-0.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but Nigeria is no more exceptional than Ghana or any other African country. Maybe you lot need to believe that to get by - but a dose of reality wouldn't hurt every now and again. Be humble, be aware of your place, work hard, better yourselves and let go of this pathetic idea that you are somehow some messianic force in Africa, above the other 53 countries in Africa. Even we, who by our history and record of national achievement, who may well be entitled to that status are not interested in its glow - rather we are determined to work harder and do better to progress in all areas of national life.

But hey Ghanaians always refer to Nigerians as criminals and ashawo.. No country in Africa is common and no African country should be referred to as criminals or ashawo..It's pathetically sad that the hatred between Ghana and Nigeria may never end..Maybe we should just declare ourselves enemies and quit the pretence because it is getting chronically and pathologically sick..When Twitter chose Ghana for its Africa's headquarter, most Ghanaians, including my friends were mocking Nigeria because Twitter didn't choose Nigeria..Recently, Microsoft, a company that is over 1 million folds more valuable than Twitter chose Nigeria for its African development center and Nigerians aren't mocking Ghanaians about it..When Netflix decided to flood its streaming platforms with Nollywood movies, we didn't make any mockery of Ghallywood because it wasn't necessary..Amazon just recently signed a deal with Nollywood and we are not even talking about that..When Ghanaian government renovated Ghana's international airport, Ghanaians were all over the internet mocking Nigerian/Nigerians...Oftentimes, Ghanaians are the aggressors..Why can't we just coexist in peace? Really sad behaviors from both sides...

Yes, there is always a reputation to defend, that is why Ghana took it on the chin for their abysmal AFCON showing. In the end, the Super Eagles were not any better. You guys should have known that Ghana was more capable than what we showed at the AFCON. So it was myopic for you guys, particular Eguavon ( the coach) to even dare underestimate a team with such a difficult history against you. I hope you sit up straight next time you are paired with Ghana in another football game. @@jaminkuff2351 we were not crying we were just surprised. Look, it's not about ignorant or arrogance this is how football is all about. creating derby just to make the clash between Nigeria and Ghana to be hot match.
Ok it's not personal. Why Madrid vs Barcelona become famous clash? Or man city vs man United or arsenal? But if you take it personal you better drop it and sleep.
