The lyrics come from Finnish folklore Kalevala where bee is a lifegiver that gods send from the heavens, in the story a man dies and is torn to pieces, his mother goes to the "underworld" and river of death called Tuonela, sews him back together and then one of the gods sends a bee to bring him back to life
Its funny because bees really do give alot of life and even back when the stories of kalevala were made/collected people realized that.
One of the best Finnish metal band! Lot´s of good songs.

should do more of this band. they are melodic metal band where does clean and growls or screams in the songs. this one there best song. also he does both style to complement each song. also they use piano a lot in there music. they gave piano solo in the song
This band is epic also live! Tomi's voice is amazing 🔥 If you ever have a chance to see them live, don't miss out that!
I would recommend their song Nighbirds Song. Never seen reaction of that song.
The song Godforsaken by Insomnium is well worth a listen, very similar sound. Features the wife of Nightwish maestro Tuomas on vocals.
I recomment you Silver Bride. It's an awesome song by amorphis.

HIM: Finnish gothic rock, inventor of love metal.
Stratovarius: pioneers power metal
Sentenced: Finnish gothic metal band that played melodic death metal in their early years.
Children of Bodom: melodic power-death metal (with one of the best guitarist and keyboard player of the world).
Stone: thrash metal
Apocalyptica: symphonic metal, neoclassical metal, progressive metal with cellos.
Northern Kings: symphonic metal cover supergroup (boy band), worth of checking.
Tarot: pioneers of Finnish heavy metal.
Sonata Arctica: power metal
Jarkko Ahola: sings like Dio…or better.
And of cause Impaled Nazarene. Finnish extreme metal band that started as black metal with elements of grindcore, thrash metal and death metal and hardcore punk. A lot of talent finish musicians have played in the band. What is remarkable, at the turn of the millennium time, 70% of metal concert attendees wore their shirts, 20% wore Nightwish's band shirts, and the rest wore band shirts like Metallica, Iron Maiden, Manowar, etc...

man, I see your reactions to Nightwish, Sabaton and others, but what about the super cool guys from Epica? Epica is a symphonic metal band, but they are not like Nightwish 😈 they are heavier and have their own distinctive epic sound. Last year they toured with Sabaton. They are over 20 years old and have a lot of cool material and are a must watch band to watch live. I advise you to check out probably their most epic live performance that is on CZcams:
