About twenty years ago my grandmother was in her 70 ths. She was looking at a performance, saw Michael Flatley and said:" That man is worthy to commit a sin for". She died shortly after. Always when im looming on youtube and see him perform im thinking about my dirty old grandma. 😉

I first saw Michael when he was touring at a venue in Houston, named Rockefeller's. I think he was sixteen or so, and it was instantly apparent that he was a prodigy: there was nothing else remotely like him. The stage, figurativelity speaking, caught fire. God love him for all the grace and beauty he has given to the world!

This is the kind of performance you live to experience. I saw Michael Flatley in Lord of the Dance when I was in high school and it was so good! I watched Lord of the Dance and Riverdance on loop when I was a teen.
No matter how many times I watch this I still feel the same. This guy and the group are the greatest. I wish my legs moved like that!
The stage with the Scenery, lighting and Pyro is along with the Dancing is just amazing.

Watched Riverdance a long time ago and loved it. Also saw Lord of the Dance. I read Michael Ryan Flatley retired in 2016 due to constant spinal,knee, foot, and rib pains.But didn’t see anything about bone replacement
And I’m so happy to say that I saw him in Vegas doing his last dance before retirement I’m just one happy Woman and Irish dancer.
My dad just loved Flatley , in my opinion was his biggest fan.

What a wonderful thing you’ve done, starting with Riverdance. When I first saw it, I was totally blown away and so moved I immediately purchased multiple videos and sent them to family members. The popularity of your shows not only speaks to the talent at every level, but speaks volumes about the universality of the “language” of dance! Very little moves me to the extent these shows do!
I was amazed and in awe the first time I saw him so many years ago and nothing has changed today. He is the best of the best.
