March 14, 2024 - March Madness

A morning round of thunderstorms had cast doubt as to whether the atmosphere would destabilize enough for storms to be able to form. The skies did not disappoint. Rapid destabilization coupled with ample low level wind shear provided the right ingredients for tornadic supercells. Unfortunately, the towns of Selma, Winchester and Madison Indiana were greatly affected by tornadoes during the evening.
