The Big Wet Monster - May 26, 2024

The day had been forecasted as an enhanced risk for several days out, until the last minute when the SPC decided to upgrade to a moderate risk. Several supercells began to fire just west of St. Louis as we positioned to the east near Mt. Vernon, IL initially. We eventually ended up going north a bit and then the show began.
