Thank you so much! What a Christmas gift! I absolute do not agree that you should separate your thinking, wrtitng and painting. It is a great gift that you are sharing so honestly about your work and life. And for me it takes absolute nothing from the experience of the paintings. I see it all as a whole and it makes so much sense. I mean it is nice to get the artists statements instead of all the academic analysis paintings normally are exposed to from art historians. Still hope to get you to Denmark some day.
Beautiful paintings that are filled with mystery and unknown feelings, I just wish the artist didn’t try to explain them, it makes the whole process seem so pretentious, it may make sense to the artist while making them but it should not be shared with anyone. Maintain the mystery bro, and let the viewer interpret them on a personal and primal level, and if you also want to be a writer then separate the two so you can evaluate each on its own merit.
