Little thing about the hunt: hunters can actually kill other avatars, so in a way that makes them the most powerful avatars

    "Quick Video"
Is almost as long as the Entities video, lol

The other thing to think about is most of the avatars start off being scared of their entities before making their choice.
    To quote Gerry (mag 111)
" I guess maybe some people just have a weird relationship with fear."
Great video btw! Keep up the good work

After momentary thoughts all of Gerry's descriptions in the second half of MAG 111 serves to give lots of ideas.

Nice! I was thinking about how Avatars both seem to need to feed for their own benefit (like how weak John and Daisy feel when they resist their patrons), but also for their Fear's benefit. If they're not going to make other people feel the fear of the Dark or the Buried or whatever, they will become the food themselves. For instance, the guy who asks Joshua Gillespie to watch the coffin in episode two, fails to trap Joshua on there, and is taken instead. AC and it's not exactly an avatar situation, but it works very well as a metaphor: in A Guest for Mr Spider, Mr Horse can remain uneaten as long as he has children to offer up, but once they're gone, well, Mr Spider wants more. It seems like the Entities can be comforting and empowering to their Avatars, but only so long as the Avatars stay on their good side.
As for the draw of the Corruption, it's not one I think much about, but Jane's statement paints it as the anti-Lonely, where you're not just loved, but needed on a primal level. She hadn't quite finished transforming when she gave her statement, maybe, because there was still fear of what she was becoming, but she made it sound like to serve the Corruption was to be part of something larger and more important than yourself, to feel a sort of satisfaction in not letting the one who is important to you down. Because what they need from you is just to be a host for them, to carry them around and let them infect others through you and not get in their way. Power over insects is neat, but the real joy seemed to be that peace of mind that being "enough" brings. Kind of similar to the Buried, in that it's almost restful sometimes.
Who do you think might be an avatar of the Dark in Protocol? Alice? Needles? [ERROR]? Someone else?

I'm leaning on Alice, because while her line about the Sun being the enemy could be just a joke or a red herring, she's said a few things about liking it in the dark or being a creature of the night that have stood out to me. But, again, it could all just be a red herring!
