Ive had mine for over 10 years. It has just started playing up where some of the buttons don't activate. But the shiatsu still works! Excellent product!

I can vouch that this massage chair is really good and does work. I am a qualified massage therapist and I was dubious about it at first but it really is very good. I have one without the neck massage part but it workd great on my sofa and I feel better after using it.

You are making me very homesick for London, I have just ordered this I live in the USA now, prices are pretty good on their website, now I have not yet received it, I was able to get the tan one for 79.99 us dollars, not the black which I would have preferred to be honest, i am not sure if it is exactly the same model as this, as they do have higher priced ones that do the same, so I thought I would go in the middle of that pricing see how we do, thanks a lot for this very helpful, I have subbed you. Cheers. :))

Hi there. Thanks for you review. I have now bought 1 of these from ebay! I'm having slight problems with the power adapter. Can I ask how this comes new? Mine came with a power adaptor that fits into a 'female' lead (attached to the seat). But it has to be held together with sticky tape as the 'male' end seems to big :/

I've seen Google Add. It said "The Homedics Shiatsu massager has the capability of doing what many competing products can't. You can actually lay it down on the floor or on your bed, or where ever you are sitting and let it work it's magic while you rest. The powerful motors perform hundreds of revolutions per minute to soothe deep into the muscle tissues and relieve spasms, aches, and muscle pains."
I guess You may need to lay it down on soft bed not a hard floor.

there's two diferent ones the 500 and the 600, the 600H is apparently much better with width adjustment and more heat, I think this is the 500H because the 600 only came out recently

  • @geekanoids

@ControlableInsanity You could, but it might hurt you or your weight might damage the seat, so I would really not recommend it.

I've tried Snailax and Homedics Shiatsu
massagers and they just didn't massage and support my low back good
enough. My L5S1 disc is mostly degenerated. I bought a Massage Lynx
Shiatsu massager a couple weeks ago on amazon because it has a bunch
of massage nodes working all at once to support your whole back. It
feels more thorough with all those different size nodes working
together adjustable to a high speed and it supports my low back way
better! I don't have to use the Massage Lynx for as long as I needed
    to use the others.

I bought one of these recently. it cost me 69.99. It was reduced from 99.99. I have pain in my upper back, lower back, and also around the bum area. It's very awkward to get it do the bum area when you are sitting on the chair. So I lie on it. So far, it has not been damaged. But I'm mindful of the poster who said that's not a good idea. I've also tried lying with it on top of my back, But it doesn't really connect well with my body that way.
