If im doing an audio only podcast do i need a pc to record? Or can i just connect an audio recorder and upload to a pc later? I currently dont have a laptop for travel but i have a pc at home that vould upload and edit podcasts when i get home from the road.
Doesn`t need the specific software. As long as you connect it to PC or smartphone, you can use it with any universal application or software. CZcams, TikTok, Facebook... Audacity, Adobe Audition, OBS...

A question: I would like to connect a Movo 3.5 jack shotgun mic to the Commander M1 to be able pre-process my audio, before sending it further on to my Sony ZV-E10 DSLR camera via an output port in the Commander M1, so the cleaned- and adjusted audio from the Movo becomes the audio on videos recorded with the camera. In that way, I don't have to fiddle with audio in post, because it's already adjusted optimally, before it even gets to the camera. Is this possible to achieve with the Commander M1?
Commander M1 and M100 are used for PC, phone, tablet, playstation... We don`t suggest you use it on camera or camcorder directly. But I have an idea, you can connect Commander M1 and camera to PC. The PC acts as a video and audio collector.
Hi. Can you please help me recording sounds in PC through Squarock commander m1? My cubase software doesn't recognize this device at all. Also while tried recording through audacity, the recording is not smooth/continued. It gets interrupted in between(total blank)

I can hear phone calls via headphones connected to phone via aux/lightning jack or Bluetooth. I’m recording audio only podcast and can’t seem to figure out how to record a remote audio interview. I’m using a MacBook Pro, garage band, and m1 commander. Thanks for any help in advance!
Hello! You can record the audio which from mic, music and other local device. You can hear all of the sound, but you can not record the other person`s sound from a phone call. It`s determined by the logic of phone chip and sound board chip. If you want to record all of the sound of a phone call. You can plug a loudspeaker to the sound board, then use a recorder/M1`s mic to record it.
The sound board can not record phone call with data/analog interface. For phone call recording, you need a loud-speaker, then use microphone to record the sound.@@3Bud

Yes. You need a PC, phone or recorder to save the audio. Commander M1 just help you to fix and mix your sound.

No. It can not be used with camera or camcorder.
