Hello, love the videos! Quick question though.. I’m wondering if it’s possible to simply record on the device and upload to a laptop on computer? Then upload to a podcast stream service such as Anchor? I currently use a spare phone to record on the Anchor app and upload directly through the app itself but I’m interested in this product but I’m not sure how compatible they would be if at all. Hopefully you have some insight on this! Keep up the great work.
Thanks. I am not yet familiar with Anchor streaming. So I can’t tell you yet if they are compatible. But for sure you can use this console to record your podcast to your phone or laptop then upload it to most of streaming platform.

That’s more easier then for just saving an audio file then upload it. You can use voice memo for iPhone and voice recorder for android. For voice memo, after you recorded an audio file to can share it right after.

There should be a way, if that's what you want. If you have an audio splitter from your phone so you can hear while the other audio output from your phone is connected to the AUX IN of the Maonocaster E2. Then connect your maonocaster e2 to the computer then open audacity then select the maonocaster e2 as your source of your audio so audio from your phone call will be connected to audacity and you can record in the audacity while on the phone.

1. If you use both Mic 1 and 2, will the Reverb effect be on both mic? For eg, 2 person karaoke.

Great videos! If I just simply wanted to record calls from my iphone, and be able to use the effects on the maono like voice changes etc, what would be the simplest way to make this work?
You will need 2 devices. Connect your phone you use for calling/receiving call to live 1 or 2. Connect the other device to Record your conversation - from the earphone/headphone of the Maono to the headphone port of that device or use another lightning adapter if you’re using another iOS device that does not have a headphone port- then open voice recording app or camera on video- then record.

Hello tried to go live I can hear everything from my headphones everything sounds perfect but when I go live they can not hear my music or me taking from mic I have iPhone 11 can it be the adapter I’m using ? I even put it on Bluetooth bunt put my tablet android for background music and it only works if I Bluetooth but still when I’m streaming they hear me but if if I was taking to them from my phone .

Is the setup to take calls the same on this as in your Maonocaster lite video?
Supposed to be the same idea with The Maonocaster Lite however when I tested it, the audio from the other line (caller or the person you called) seems to be distorted and not clear. I am not sure if it’s because my internet signal is weak. Feel free to test it yourself. If it’s not the wifi ussue, and if I figure other set up, for sure I’ll be making video on it.

If you just want to record, set up is the same. Instead of opening YT or FB live, open built in camera or recording app of one of your device for recording then call someone with your cellphone and record thru the other device

I have an ame2 sound card, but no matter what I do, the noise never goes away. I always get a noise from the microphone. Ame2 is a nice xlr cable and I use PD200x, please help me.
PD200x is a dynamic mic. In between Mic2 and INST there is a switch. Switch it to dynamic (middle)-do a test then try also the next one towards INST and see which sounds better.

I used the device connected to a macpro through the usb port and tried to perform a live on my iphone while recording the live on the macbook but I couldn’t.
No sound on Iphone do you know what’s happening?
First make sure everything are plugged in properly. Check if the OUTPUT volume is on high. If yes but still no audio on your recording, most likely it’s the phone adapter issue as some adapters you can only hear but will not work for Recording/Streaming. I bought my lightning adapter from the Apple Store. I had bought adapter from other store but didn’t work for Recording/Streaming.

You should be able to use a usb c dongle (3.5mm to usb c adapter). If You want to use your usb c for charging - you will need an OTG cord/cable. Then you will connect your usb c cable to the OTG then to the OTG port of the sound card

when you stream from your phone does audio and video come through/record.
Yes both come through to the phone. It depends on the streaming platform to used. For example if FB or you tube streaming, after you live stream you have the option to save or delete it for FB or save it then download it later for your record.

Hi, can you help me with my little problem? I would like to buy MAONO AME2 or MAONO AU-AM100-K0, but I want microphone Rode NT1. Can I use this combination or it is better to use microphone from Maono. I think does not matter, but I do not know. If you will be using a Rode NT1 mic, I suggest, you should get the Maonocaster E2 at it has an XLR port unlike the lite version which doesn't have that port. I am not very technical however I noticed whenever I used my RODE NT1A mic, words are more clearer than using my other microphones. Anyway, it's up to you to decide. Have you connected the TRRS from the Speaker Monitor port of the E2 to your speaker? You can also try connecting it from the headphone port on the other side.
Why the HI knobs that don't light. ? Low and mid are lighting.
HI column will light up if you connect an instrument at the INST port of E2, like connecting a guitar.

It could be the adapter. I used lightning adapter from Apple Store and it works great. Where I used lightning adapter (does not supports calling) not from Apple Store, didn’t work. I also bought adapter from other site (supports calling) it works but audio output is not stable. It sounds live radio which audio is up and down

Can this be used to do karaoke? trying to use this for karaoke, connected to a receiver sound system and later a portable speaker and I'm getting terrible feedback on both if I turn the volume up to even hear it!? watched your video on the maonocaster lite setup to do karaoke, seems like this upgraded version should be able to do that, but perhaps not?
You should be able to connect a receiver/amplier sytem for karaoke. Condenser mic is super sensitive so I can only recommend placing the speaker away from the mic.

If you have tried the 2 headphone ports at the bottom and won’t work, you can try also connecting thru the Monitor SPK port on the other side.

If you meant you can charge your phone while recording/streaming - for iPhone is lightning camera adapter. For android almost same as lightning camera adapter except usb c on one end instead of lightning.

What type of mic were you using? If you’re using a dynamic mic or an electret condenser that has 3.5mm to xlr cable comes in the package when you bought the mic, volume control is mic 2. Condenser mic that requires 48v phantom power like Rode NT1 A and alike, press 48V to turn on, then volume control is mic 1.

There should be a light on the 48V button to indicate that mic connected via XLR port is on if you pressed it to turn on. So if there is no light, does your mic still works? I hope to can still return or exchange it.

We’re you’re using a large diaphragm condenser mic via xlr port of the E2? If so, Mic volume control is Mic 1. If you’ve used other mic port, volume control is mic 2. You may turn monitor volume up so you can hear thru your speaker. If you’re recording or streaming make sure to turn on Monitor AUX up as of it’s low audio output will be low as well even if mic volume is high.

The Bluetooth is for connecting a source of music not the device for recording or streaming. So you don’t need an adapter for connecting the device as a source for music via bluetooth.
Can I use this or the lite version without ear buds on live?
For both, you don’t need to connect an earphone or headphone for monitoring? You can connect an external speaker if you would like.

I have a problem. When connecting the console to a cellular device to transmit it is not possible, use adapters but you cannot hear all the effects that I use or the console microphone.
I used usb c and lighting adapter from apple store and they work. Are you using iPhone or android?
Did you try to record and no effects or you can’t hear effects when testing it? It could be the type of mic also.

You can’t record it to the same camera you’re using. Normally after your streaming, there is an option of you would like to post it, save it or delete it. You can save it or if you post it in public or private then you can save it whenever you want.

HELLO SIS, HOPE YOU CAN ANSWER ,,I just recieved my maono one week ago but I have a problem of the audio source from other device like iPhone phone via you tube but the background music cannot be record on my streaming or record device which is samsung s22 ultra , but I can all hear the music on the headset that come along with the unit ,I did all the knobs on a high but still no background music recorded ,I really don't know why? Hope you can give me some advise what to do.thank you
So you’re trying to record to your Samsung s22 and background music from your iPhone?
I presumed you used a usb c adapter. Most likely, that is the issue. Are you using original adapter from Samsung store? If not most likely you’re using a headphone adapter which you can only hear but will not be able to record. Same issue with iPhones. Someone has massage me from Pinas that adapter that supports calling works for Recording/streaming. I have not tested it myself yet though.
@@jenuds , thanks for the reply,i bought original adaptor from samsung which is the headset jack adaptor , and that don’t really work, and then just later, i tried my another samsung galaxy8 which doesn’t need an adaptor because it has the port for the cable from maono trrs , then it works perfectly !!! . thank you really for the reply 😁, now i can learn more for the rest of the features too. It sounds like, it did not connect to your Samsung phone at all. I don’t have like that phone. It looks like, you will need an usb C OTG adapter so audio from the Maono will go in to your Samsung s22 ultra phone for streaming or recording.

The MIC are 3.5mm correct? and the AUX?
Mic 2 input is 3.5mm and mic 1 input is xlr or 6.35mm. Yes AUX input is 3.5mm

Yes you can also connect to mic 1 using 6.35mm. It’s good if you can also buy 6.35mm female to 3.5mm male adapter so you can also connect to the AUx input. Connecting to mic 1 could be too loud but adjust the volume from maono e2 or from your keyboard

I think it should work with OBS but I have not tested it yet if my laptop can handle OBS itself coz it was super laggy before with my older laptop so I gave up.

For me easy way is to do is screen record kung mayron po kayong power point or software na pwede magscreen record like filmora. Using audacity parang complicated po yta. Kc zoom on same laptop then audacity being open, don’t know yet po how to route audio out from zoom call to udacity. Sensya na po

Hey everyone I bought mano caster e2 I make beats and make music when I plug my phone to the mano caster e2 and try to record music it doesn't pick up my mic even with my phone connected via Bluetooth I bought a portable desktop ots Chromebook so I can't download and music softwares does anyone know how to connect phone to the mank caster and to enable or allow the mic to record on mu android music apps?
So Bluetooth feature on Maonocaster is to connect a device as a source for music not the device for recording. The device for Recording has to be connected thru the live or OTG ports of Maonocaster. You will need a USB C to TRRS adapter if your android does not have a headphone port. I think that’s your issue.
@@jenuds oOo ok cool I do have a audio jack for headphones on my android so I do have some adapters not sure if I have the one ur saying but I guess I'll use one phone for music and then try to connect other phone the way u said
@@jenuds I just looked it up I do have the USB plug in to my android charger but don't have with me so u mean I have to get. USB c to one side and other side audio cable? Or can I use straight audio cable to mano caster?
@@Alileverything It did not work when I tried with my iPhone. If you want to do that, you will need USB C camera adapter.

I think if you connect the guitar to the mic input, I think you can add reverb to it.

Have you turn your Aux volume to the max and still didn’t record the music? Try recording just press sound effects you’ve recorded to Maono E2, if it don’t record- possibly the issue is the usb c adapter.

I don’t work for Maono. I only review and making video content on maono product. I also suggested to maono that it would be great if they can share the software comes with E2 to the Lite version for loading sound effects.
