EVERYONE loves Gilli Air!

Gilli Air is the perfect place to forget about the rest of the world. With no cars, motorbikes, or dogs that I've seen, amazing scenery and crystal clear waters, abundant corals and fish straight out of your hammock, it's easy to understand why so many people consider this island to be perfect for a break.
Of course there are also many locals who live and work on the Gilli Islands as well as visiting tourists. I speak with a handful of people and ask why they love Gilli Air.
Expat Sarah fell in love after visiting the island and now runs a business. Oga has been working after arriving from Lombok more than thirty five years ago. Others are on holiday or longer travels staying on the island for a while and I pin them down to ask what it is for them that they love.
We explore the island from one end to the other asking why people why they are here.
