  • In this video, we'll explain how to install your Weatherables vinyl fence with FAST 2K, a convenient alternative to traditional concrete. FAST 2K eliminates the heavy and work involved with traditional concrete. A single 26 oz. bag of FAST 2K (each bag weighs less than 2 lbs) replaces the two 50 lb. bags of traditional concrete required for each 5" fence post. As you can see, FAST 2K easily pays for itself in the time and energy you will save. Visit weatherables.com to find out more and to shop premium grade vinyl fencing & railing.

We used it and followed directions and it worked beautifully. So much easier and no mess, no fuss, no sore muscles, no dirty mess to clean up after!!!!

We did this late fall. Ground was dry. No rain. We dug the depth of 24 to 28 inches. We put a few inches of pea gravel in the hole. We set the 4x4 ground touch lumber, leveling and wedging securely in place. We found these plastic collars at Home Depot to put on the lumber, it sits several inches below ground level and few inches above ground level. Followed the bag directions, but used two bags for three holes. Allowed the foam to come up, but realized it would be over kill for us to use a single bag per post, so quickly moved to second post as well and used the bag up in that hole. When we had everything set for two more posts, we opened another bag and added same amount to the empty hole and the rest in the partial filled hole. Here we are months later and very happy with the product. It is a product, by its natural, should have no reason for it to break down. I don't understand why it would not work for folks if used properly. I am happy with it. The mess concrete creates for me, the weight of it, handling it to get in the hole, I am sold on the foam product; worth the extra money to me. I can see that folks that do fence work all the time would be fine sticking with what they have always done.

Why the hell would I wanna do that for every post waste of time and cost. I’ll stick with concrete where you get three 50lb bags for the price of one bag of this crap.

most useless shit I have used. it is NOT an alternative to concrete. at first it swelled up nice and tight but when returned the next day it had shrank and left a space between post leaving the fence rattling and shaking in the wind.
