    Chakrasambhara & vajrayogini seems to be similar with Shiva & Parvati.
    It seems, Vajrayana Buddhism is more likely related with Hinduism.

    How is it possible that you interpreted that as a single-pointed spear?

      Please don't listen to people with limited knowledge. There are legends behind it. Lord Shiv who is depicted as Chakrasamvara in Buddism cut one the five heads of Brahma because Brahma lied to him to prove his greatness. The cutting off the fifth head depicts cutting off the ego.

      Chakrasamvara' s consort is Vajrabarahi (in red ) whereas Kalachakra's consort is Vishwamata ( in yellow). This is one of the minor details you can look for. And there are plenty which you can easily differentiate. Although they both represent the high tantras. Anyways thank you for commenting. 🙏

    • @chilliecheesecake
      @chilliecheesecake Před rokem +24

      Shiva cut off Brahma's head, remember the tale of Bhairava? So many of Shiva's greatest stories are about him engaging in divine transgression and defying mundane, dualistic sensibilities. And if you would simply do a cursory bit of research, you would quickly learn that Cakrasamvara Tantra was mostly adapted from Indian Kapalikas who were devoted to Kali and Shiva. Also, Tantric Buddhism first arose in Orissa and this even included the reverence of Jagannath, Baladeva, and Subhadra as Buddha's trikayas. The Srimad Bhagavatam even prophecied Vishnu's appearance in the form of Buddha at the beginning of the Kali Yuga--the very time and place where Prince Siddhartha achieved enlightenment before he started preaching. This whole thing is much more complex than just "going against Brahma", and if that's really your attitude you would probably fit in better among Muslims. Lord Shiva meditates in cremation grounds and does not discriminate between "favorable" or "unfavorable" circumstances, he smokes ganja and covers himself in ashes from cremated bodies, and ultimately his task is to destroy creation and return it to its primordial state of nonbeing for one night of Brahma. Shiva is far bigger and much more complex than your own smallminded view of the world and it would be a good idea for you to not mislead yourself or others about him.

      There is some resemblance (kapala, elephant skin, trishul) but this not taken from Bhairav. Similarities because of iconography from Tantra that came out of east India. In some Chakrasamvara depiction under left foot is Bhairav, actually. 🙏
