Today I will take a look at the new EZBNB RD207 AM FM MP3 radio with flashlight. This radio would be good for camping or a blackout! Watch the video and see what you think.

That's a nice radio. It looks simple and is handy for power outages. Thank you as always for the reviews.

That's a nice on RG. I like the light on it. You figure if the power goes out, and you reach for the pocket radio, it's a plus to have an extra light to use. Good review buddy.

Thanks Carl. It is a handy little Radio to have during a Power outage. I really like the MP3 player and flashlight on this one it’s a good combination to have in a pocket radio.

The CBS Radio Mystery Theatre wit E.G.Marshall ❗️
I used to take my little pocket AM radio to bed with me, hide under the covers and listen.
Great show -[ and E.G.Marshal was an excellent actor].
ITs good that it uses an 18650, as opposed to the little Cellphone battery.
[ Some of] these companies are finally starting to make better radios.
    📻🙂

I would agree the 18 650 cell is better than the cell phone batteries. I remember listening to the CBS radio mystery theater as a kid also, in my area it came on very late 11 PM to midnight. I would struggle to stay up and listen to the show and then have a very hard time getting up for school the next day. Oh the good old days.

Mom tried to take my radio one night- I must have been 9 years old (?). I threw such a fit❗️ I was up all night - she was up all night. [ I had school, she had work]. After that episode, she never tried to take my radio again.
But I was always a night person. Sometimes I’d get up, go to the living room, and watch the “Late Late Movie “, until the stations went off the air.
I get 4 hrs of sleep, I’m good to go, still, and I’m 60 years old now. It’s 3:38 AM now. I’m just catching up before I go to sleep. I’ve got an 8:00 appointment, with a 35 minute drive, tomorrow morning.
      📻😁

@@jeffking4176 that sounds a bit like trying to take a bone from a dog. 😂 I am somewhat of a night person also but I require more than four hours of sleep, that’s for sure.

I really like this radio. I`m in a fringe area for AM stations and it`s very sensitive and gets the weak daytime stations. Sounds great too. Nice clean signal with a very pleasing tone to my drumming damaged ears. A portable folding solar panel can keep it charged and charge your 18650 flashlight batteries off grid.

I like it too. I use mine to listen to old time radio shows on the micro SD card at night. I really like the 18650 battery because I can get about two week of listen out of it. 👍❤️📻

@@TheRadiogeek I asked a Chinese person I bought some stuff from to get me some of those high quality blue 18650 batteries you see in the Kaito Voyager KA500L and it took a long time and a lost order but he got me four of them straight from China. I bought several packs of terrible ones and got a bunch of really bad ones with flashlights. I finally got a good collection of high quality ones because they make sure to put them in radios they sell. Check out the Raddy RF-L3 Multifunction Radio if you can find one. It comes with four and a glass solar panel that can directly power the Sangean PR-D4W as is or the CCrane EP PRO and other 6v radios with adapter plugs.

@@baneverything5580 that’s a very interesting looking radio. I don’t think I’ve seen that one before. I think I have a few 18650 cells from a flashlight that seem to work well. I can’t remember the brand of flashlight.

I have the same radio with the weather band instead of the MP3 player. It's a pretty good radio and when you're not quite tuned on the FM stations, the blue light will flash. I do like the large battery for a really good play time before recharging.

    • @TheRadiogeek
      @TheRadiogeek  Před 2 lety

Yes the battery life is quite good. I played this radio on MP3 mode overnight and I’m still using it throughout the day today I’m not sure how long it will go for but it sure does last a long time. 👍

@@TheRadiogeek bolt are mp3 am/fm. i'd asume they sound the same. good for otr and audiobooks,no tone crtl so music is iff'y. fm sounds better than mp3! 18650,micro sd were my buy points. the red/blue led is dammned annoying at night(black tape cured that) oh DONT EVER leave it in a hot car or sunlight, the face/top sticker will melt off!

@@oldcarnocar oh good to know, keep it out of the hot car. Yes that light is very annoying at night and the black tape will definitely be going on mine if I play it overnight.👍

Hey does anyone know if these kind of radios or general cheap Chinese made AM/FM radios are safe to use plugged in with batteries in? I am guessing they are because I know they cant charge up rechargeable batteries.
