GSM will be still the same because it is based literally on a cut-out circle from the fabric of a sample or from a fabric mill. this will be of a specific measurement (like 20/30cm diameter) and that is placed on a very precise scale. GSM of the same fabric can vary accordingly to washings and or treatments.
GSM is the density, where weight is the density x amount of garment per sq unit

1:53 GSM = Gram per Square Metter. So it's basically the weight of 1m by 1m square of the fabric. So 1m by 1m square of XS and 1m by 1m square XXL hoodie of the same fabric will have the same weight.

The GSM of a fabric is calculated long before it becomes a garment, it refers to the weight of 1 square metre of the uncut fabric so whether that becomes an XS or an XXL is irrelevant

GSM stands for grams per square meter, its the weight of a set amount of fabric it doesn't matter how much or little fabric your garment has, the GSM is set by the material itself not the garment

Hey guys, if I plan to create cut & sewn t-shirts, can I give the manufacturers detailed measurements for just one size (like size M) and a basic measurements chart (like a size chart on a brand website) for the other sizes? Or do I need to provide detailed measurements for each size to ensure consistent proportions?

Hello friend, I hope you respond to my inquiry, thank you very much. I just read your advice on your website, and they are fantastic. I'm interested in knowing if your mockup package includes oversized polo shirts. In case they are not oversized, what can I do to transform a regular polo into an oversized one? I want to inquire with the manufacturer about getting an oversized version with slightly longer sleeves and such.
I have button ups not necessarily polos, but they can be edited in illustrator if you’re somewhat decent with the anchor point tool and pen tool. and they’re clothing templates, they can be whatever size you want on the screen
is there a rule on how large should the elastic bottom rib cuff be compared to the circumference of the whole chest+back piece of the hoodie? i'm having problems with that one, thank you! :)
Do you mean like when it is actually done or in mock up mode? Cause really that is all a matter of preference and the look you are trying to achieve.

Can I get your insight? I’m starting a clothing brand and I’m getting 30 blank Bella Canvas hoodies printed which I bought for $27 each and am suppling to the print company. I’m getting the whole design in screen puff print on the front (10 inches), back (10 inches), and sleeves (3.5 inches). Two colors total. One specially ordered color. Their charge is $120 for puff print additives, $120 for ink color, $112 for screen fees, and $22 per hoodie. So that’s $1,012 + the $810 I already spent on the hoodies. Essentially making each hoodie cost $60 just to be ready for sale. Seems like way too much especially since I’m supplying the garments. Does this seem right/normal to you? Do you have any advice on how I can lower this cost? I don’t want to have to sell my clothes for $120+

Do you need to make different dimensions for each size? or will your manufacturer scale it.
Your manufacturer will grade scale, just provide them the measurements of one size and tell them what size that is

MOQ means total max so your first scenarios is correct, most likely you couldn’t do cut and sew for first collection, so it’ll prob be clothing blanks

You import the template into any design software, and then you can use text tools and drag your graphics onto it
